Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electrode assembly formed by stacking a plurality of electrode units, the electrode assembly including: two or more steps formed by stacking three or more types of the electrode units having different areas, wherein an array of electrode units having a maximum area among the electrode units is positioned in the interior of the electrode assembly, and electrodes having different polarities face each other at an interface between the electrode units having different areas.
