Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a stretchable display device, including a lower substrate as a first substrate, the lower substrate having an active area and a non-active area surrounding the active area; a plurality of second substrates positioned on the lower substrate and horizontally separated from each other; a transistor disposed on the second substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements disposed above the transistor and above the plurality of second substrates; a plurality of connecting substrate positioned between the plurality of second substrates to interconnect two adjacent second substrates. With this structure of the display, especially to the structure of the connecting substrate and the connection line, the stress applied to the stretchable display the connecting lines may be attenuated.

Abstract: A stretchable display devices includes a flexible substrate. A plurality of first substrates and a plurality of second substrates are disposed on the substrate. The plurality of first substrates are spaced from each other and the plurality of second substrates, and the plurality of second substrates are spaced from each other. A plurality of connection supports are coupled to the plurality of first and second substrates. Connection lines extend on the plurality of connection supports to form an electrical connection between the plurality of first substrates and the plurality of second substrates. A distance between one of the plurality of second substrates and a corresponding outer one of the plurality of first substrates is greater than a distance between the plurality of first substrates to reduce stress on the plurality of second substrates during bending or stretching of the display device.

The light blocking device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a first electrode on the first substrate, a second electrode on the second substrate, and a PDLC layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. The PDLC layer includes a droplet including liquid crystals and dichroic dyes, and the liquid crystals and the dichroic dyes are twisted with each other and aligned.
