    Abstract: A stretchable display device comprises a lower substrate; a plurality of island substrates spaced apart from each other and disposed on the lower substrate; a plurality of pixels defined on the plurality of island substrates; a plurality of base polymers disposed between adjacent island substrates of the plurality of island substrates; and a plurality of conductive particles distributed in the base polymer and electrically connecting a plurality of pads disposed on the adjacent island substrates.

    Abstract: A stretchable display devices includes a flexible substrate. A plurality of first substrates and a plurality of second substrates are disposed on the substrate. The plurality of first substrates are spaced from each other and the plurality of second substrates, and the plurality of second substrates are spaced from each other. A plurality of connection supports are coupled to the plurality of first and second substrates. Connection lines extend on the plurality of connection supports to form an electrical connection between the plurality of first substrates and the plurality of second substrates. A distance between one of the plurality of second substrates and a corresponding outer one of the plurality of first substrates is greater than a distance between the plurality of first substrates to reduce stress on the plurality of second substrates during bending or stretching of the display device.

The stretchable display device includes a lower substrate including a display area and a non-display area. The stretchable display device further includes a plurality of upper connection lines disposed on the plurality of connection substrates. Therefore, various connection lines are configured in a limited space to improve an image quality of a stretchable display device.

    Abstract: A stretchable display device includes a structure that can minimize damage to a polarizing layer when the stretchable display device is stretched and reduce visibility of external light being reflected to a user by using a polarizing plate having a stretchable characteristic, and the thickness of the stretchable display can be reduced because components disposed under the upper substrate and the polarizing layer are configured to include the same material as the polarizing layer that can be easily stretched in a plurality of directions by alternately disposing stretchable polarizing layers in different directions.
