Abstract: Provided are a touch sensitive device and a display device including the same. The touch sensitive device includes: a first electroactive layer formed of a ferroelectric polymer; a plurality of electrodes disposed on at least one surface of the first electroactive layer; and a second electroactive layer in contact with the plurality of electrodes and the first electroactive layer and formed of an electroactive polymer. A coating layer having a low refractive index and formed of an electroactive polymer is formed on the first electroactive layer formed of a ferroelectric polymer having a low light transmittance, and, thus, a vibration level and a light transmittance of the touch sensitive device can be improved simultaneously.

Abstract: A touch sensitive device, a display device including the touch sensitive device and a method of driving the same are discussed. The touch sensitive device can include an electroactive layer including an electroactive polymer; and one or more first electrodes and one or more second electrodes are disposed on only one surface of the electroactive layer, in which the first and the second electrodes include a conductive material. The first and the second electrodes of the touch sensitive device can be disposed only on one surface of the electroactive layer, a driving voltage of the touch sensitive device can be reduced and transmissivity can be improved.

Abstract: Provided is a display device. The display device includes a display panel, a contact sensitive device on the display panel, and a linear polarizer on the contact sensitive device. The contact sensitive device includes an electro-active layer which is uniaxially elongated and configured to retard a phase of incident light. Since the display device includes the contact sensitive device having the electro-active layer configured to retard the phase of the incident light, a separate phase retardation film for suppressing external light reflection may be omitted. As a result, the thickness of the display device may be decreased and manufacturing cost of the display device may be reduced.

According to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a touch sensitive element, includes: an electroactive layer which is formed of electroactive polymer (EAP); an electrode which is disposed on at least one surface of the electroactive layer; and a hard coating layer which is disposed on the electroactive layer and the electrode and has a negative coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). Abstract: A transformable device is provided. The transformable device includes an electro-active layer. A first electrode is disposed at a lower portion inside the electro-active layer. A second electrode is disposed at an upper portion inside the electro-active layer. In the transformable device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, performance of the electrodes is suppressed from decreasing in spite of repeated operating and a life of the transformable device can be increased as compared with a case of forming electrodes outside an electro-active layer.
