    Abstract: A method of operating a first device in a wireless communication system according to at least one of the examples disclosed herein may include receiving, through higher layer signaling, configuration information related to positioning, performing a phase measurement for a reference signal based on the configuration information, and transmitting a measurement report related to positioning based on the phase measurement. The phase measurement may include a pair of a first phase measurement and a second phase measurement. The first phase measurement may be related to a carrier phase measurement (CPM) of a carrier of the reference signal, and the second phase measurement paired with the first phase measurement may have a different resolution than the first phase measurement.
