Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an electronic device comprising: a touch screen including a display region for outputting an image; a window arranged on the touch screen; and a control unit, wherein the touch screen includes a touch sensing layer which receives a touch input applied on the display region and receives a touch input with a first sensing resolution, and a fingerprint sensing unit, which overlaps a specific portion of the display region, is arranged between the window and the touch sensing layer, and senses a fingerprint with a second sensing resolution higher than the first sensing resolution when a finger touches the specific portion, and in order to receive a touch input on the basis of the touching of the finger with the specific portion, the control unit controls the fingerprint sensing unit on the basis of a specific control command such that the second sensing resolution of the specific portion is changed to the first sensing resolution.
Abstract:
A glass-type mobile terminal including a display configured to display a virtual reality image thereon; and a controller configured to detect an object around the glass-type mobile terminal while the virtual reality image is displayed on the display, and modify the virtual reality image if the detected object is a dangerous element so a viewer viewing the virtual reality image avoids the dangerous element.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The present invention determines whether received touch input is touch input by a finger of a user and, when a function executed by the touch input requires authentication, provides a user interface necessary for authentication differently according to whether the touch input is touch input by the user's finger. Accordingly, fingerprint authentication is processed as necessary, thereby improving processor efficiency.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal capable of displaying an image and a control method thereof. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a touch screen configured to display a first image, and a controller configured to control the touch screen to display a part of the first image in an enlarged manner based on a user request, wherein the controller displays a part of a second image different from the first image in an enlarged manner on the touch screen when a predetermined type of touch is applied to the touch screen in a state that the part of the first image is displayed in an enlarged manner.
Abstract:
An electronic device including a display; a touch sensor configured to detect a touch input on the display; and a controller configured to activate the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with a first period; deactivate the display in response to a predetermined condition and periodically drive the touch sensor with a second period greater than the first period; wherein when the display is deactivated, the touch sensor is divided into a first region and a second region; in response to a first tap input applied on the touch sensor in a state of the deactivated display, determine a region of the touch sensor that corresponds to the first tap input; if the region of the touch sensor that corresponds to the first tap input is the first region of the touch sensor, activate the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with the first period; and if the region of the touch sensor that corresponds to the first tap input is the second region of the touch sensor, maintain the deactivation of the display and periodically drive the touch sensor with the second period.
