Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless charging method and device(s) for a transportation equipment and a wireless charging system comprising the devices. A method for receiving wireless power in a wireless power receiving apparatus mounted on a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: establishing a communication connection to wireless power transmission device when a wireless power signal transmitted by the wireless power transmission device is detected to be in an idle state; receiving low-power signals for low-power charging; receiving safety state information collected by a sensing device; and adjusting the strength of the received power on the basis of the safety state information. Therefore, the present invention has the advantage of preventing the harm of electromagnetic waves to passenger when wireless charging the vehicle.

Abstract: A long-range wireless charging enhancement structure for implantable medical devices (IMDs) is disclosed. The abovementioned enhancement structure provides a possibility for long-range charging the IMDs, which maintains the quality of user's lives and also reduces the risks of replacing the batteries through surgeries. The enhancement structure includes an enhancer, which comprises an emitter, a carrier, an IMD, and an enhancement module. The enhancement module is set within the carrier and disposed at the outer surface of user's skin between the emitter and the IMD. The charging signals emitted by the emitter is enhanced by the enhancement module and further transmitted for charging the IMD inside the user's tissue.

Abstract: Implantable devices and/or sensors can be wirelessly powered by controlling and propapting electromagnetic waves in a patient's tissue. Such implantable devices/sensors can be implanted at target locations in a patient, to stimulate areas such as the heart, brain, spinal cord, or muscle tissue, and/or to sense biological physiological, chemical attributes of the blood, tissue, and other patient parameters. The propagating electromagnetic waves can be generated with sub-wavelength structures configured to manipulate evanescent fields outside of tissue to generate the propagating waves inside the tissue. Methods of use are also described.
