摘要: Systems and methods manage power in an integrated circuit using power islands. The integrated circuit includes a plurality of power islands wherein a power consumption of each power island within the plurality of power islands is independently controlled within each of the power islands. A power manager determines a target power level for one power island of the plurality of power islands. The power manager then determines an action to change a consumption power level of the one power island of the plurality of power islands to the target power level. The power manager performs the action to change the consumption power level of the one power island of the plurality of power islands to the target power level.

摘要: Provided is a resource management method and system, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: determining tasks within a task group and a preset task time corresponding to each task within the task group (S110); determining whether the sum of the preset task times corresponding to all the tasks in the task group is less than a preset time threshold (S120); if yes, then determining the resource usage time quota of the task group to be the sum of the preset task times corresponding to all the tasks in the task group (S130); if no, then determining the resource usage time quota of the task group to be the time threshold (S140); determining the allowable run time per unit time for each task in the task group (S150); within unit time, when each task in the task group is outside of the corresponding run period, the respective task in the task group are respectively entered into a waiting state (S160).

摘要: In an embodiment, a system on a chip (SOC) includes a component that remains powered when the remainder of the SOC is powered off. The component may include a sensor capture unit to capture data from various device sensors, and may filter the captured sensor data. Responsive to the filtering, the component may wake up the remainder of the SOC to permit the processing. The component may store programmable configuration data, matching the state at the time the SOC was most recently powered down, for the other components of the SOC, in order to reprogram them after wakeup. In some embodiments, the component may be configured to wake up the memory controller within the SOC and the path to the memory controller, in order to write the data to memory. The remainder of the SOC may remain powered down.

摘要: A document processing system includes a power scheduling server configured to receive time-based usage data from a multifunction device. In response to receiving the usage data from the multifunction device, the power scheduling server analyzes the usage data and determines a power saving policy for the multifunction device. The power scheduling server transmits the power saving policy to the multifunction device. The multifunction device performs changes of operational state based on usage and in accordance with the received power saving policy.
