Abstract: Provided are a refrigerator and a cloud server that diagnose a cause of an abnormal state. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an abnormal state diagnosis unit included in the refrigerator or the cloud server generates information on the abnormal state of the refrigerator based on similarity between stored first group of information and a normal pattern, and a cause diagnosis unit generates, when the abnormal state diagnosis determines that a state of the refrigerator is an abnormal stte, information on cause of the abnormal state based on similarity between stored second group of information and a defect pattern.

Abstract: An intelligent inspection device is disclosed. The intelligent inspection device includes a camera configured to photograph a refrigerator that is installed and a processor configured to position a first refrigerator image photographed by the camera in a preset area of an inspection frame, compare the first refrigerator image with the inspection frame, inspect whether a step is present in the refrigerator based on a result of the comparison, and learn a solution corresponding to a result of the inspection to provide the solution to a user. The intelligent inspection device may be associated with an artificial intelligence module, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, devices related to 5G services, and the like.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a temperature-context-aware refrigerator and a method for controlling the same. A temperature-context-aware refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a temperature context awareness unit for sensing a temperature of at least one storage compartment, and when the difference between the sensed temperature and a temperature set for the corresponding storage compartment is equal to or greater than a predetermined level, generating load-responsive operation information including a target temperature lower or higher than the set temperature; a temperature control unit for controlling a temperature sensor and the temperature context awareness unit, and performing a load-responsive operation for controlling the temperature of the storage compartment by using the load-responsive operation information; and a database unit which is required for the temperature context awareness unit to generate the load-responsive operation information.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a refrigerator controlling freshness on the basis of context awareness and artificial intelligence, a server, a portable device, and a method for controlling freshness. The refrigerator controlling freshness on the basis of context awareness, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: one or more partitioned storage spaces; one or more freshness sensors for sensing the freshness in an outside area or the storage spaces; a communication unit for receiving operation instruction information from the server or the portable device, and transmitting, to the server or the portable device, freshness condition information generated by the freshness sensors; and a control unit for controlling the freshness sensors and the communication unit, and performing a freshness control operation according to operation instruction information instructing an operation that differs from pre-set operating condition information that is set for any one or more of the storage spaces.
