    Abstract: An apparatus for molding a rotating member includes a main mold including a column part space configured to mold a column part therein, a plurality of blade spaces configured to mold a plurality of blades therein, and a plurality of split bodies disposed along a circumferential direction of the column part and configured to move along a radial direction of the column part. Each of the plurality of split bodies comprises a column part molding surface defining the column part space, and a plurality of blade molding surfaces defining the blade space. Column part molding surfaces of the plurality of the split bodies define the column part space together, and a first blade molding surface provided at one of the plurality of split bodies defines, together with a second blade molding surface provided at another one of the plurality of split bodies, one of the plurality of blade spaces.

    Abstract: A method of controlling a washing machine includes the steps of: (a) processing the laundry by using the water supplied together with detergent; (b) draining the water used in the step (a), rotating the inner tub at a high speed, and operating the pump to drain the water discharged from the laundry; (c) rotating the inner tub at a first speed and supplying the water into the inner tub via the dispenser; (d) stopping the supply of water through the dispenser, rotating the inner tub at a second speed, and supplying the water into the inner tub through the spray nozzle; (e) stopping the supply of water through the spray nozzle and alternately rotating the pulsator at a third speed in both directions; (f) stopping rotation of the pulsator, rotating the inner tub at the second speed for a preset time, and supplying the water into the inner tub through the spray nozzle; (g) decelerating the inner tub from the second speed to a fourth speed, and operating the pump while the inner tub rotates at the fourth speed to drain the outer tub; and (h) accelerating and rotating the inner tub from the fourth speed to dewater the laundry.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a washing machine including an inner tub assembly for accommodating laundry, a pulsator rotatably provided to an inner lower portion of the inner tub assembly, a blade installed at a lower portion of the pulsator to be rotatable independently from the pulsator, the blade being configured to pump wash water to raise the wash water to an upper end of the inner tub assembly, a drive motor for providing rotational power to the pulsator and the blade, and a power transmission unit for transmitting power of the drive motor to the pulsator and the blade, respectively. The power transmission unit transmits power such that a direction of rotation of the pulsator is opposite to a direction of rotation of the blade.

    Abstract: A top-loading-type washing machine including a drum, a drive module for rotating the drum via a drive shaft, inner and outer pulsators placed in the drum so as to be rotated in opposite directions, and a gearbox connected to the drive shaft for rotating both the pulsators. The gearbox includes a sun gear rotatably connected to the drive shaft, planetary gears rotatably engaged with the sun gear, a ring gear rotatably engaged with the planetary gears, a carrier for connecting the planetary gears so as to be rotated along with the planetary gears, a gear housing to which the ring gear is fixed, the gear housing being coupled to the outer pulsator, and a carrier shaft coupled to the inner pulsator. The top-loading-type washing machine further includes a long-axis bolt fastened to the drive shaft and rotatably inserted into a carrier shaft bore of the carrier shaft.
