摘要： A laundry appliance having a treatment chamber and a control unit configured to perform a first set of phases of a selected treatment cycle using a dose of a treatment agent, and a treatment agent delivering device. The control unit is further configured to: receive a first command that enables the delivering device and thereupon: calculate a first amount of treatment agent, and cause the delivering device to deliver the dose to the laundry treatment chamber; and, upon receiving a second command for an intensive treatment mode: cause the laundry appliance to perform a second set of phases in addition to said first set of phases, and calculate a second amount of treatment agent when both the first and second commands are received, so that said dose comprises said first amount of treatment agent plus said second amount of treatment agent.

Disclosed clothing management apparatus comprises: memory; a steam generation apparatus for generating steam; a steam discharge member for spraying clothing with the steam generated by the steam generation apparatus; a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature inside the clothing management apparatus; and a processor which, when a clothing management start command is entered, stores the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor in memory, and controls the steam generation apparatus to carry out the action corresponding to the sensed temperature and clothing management start command, wherein, if an additional clothing management command is entered within a previously set time following an execution of an action corresponding to the clothing management start command, then the processor controls the steam generation apparatus to carry out the action corresponding to the temperature data stored in memory and additional clothing management command.

摘要： A washing machine appliance includes a wash basket that is rotatably mounted within a wash tub and that defines a wash chamber for receiving a load of clothes. A motor assembly selectively rotates the wash basket, a drain pump assembly selectively drains wash fluid from the wash tub, and a camera assembly is used to monitor an out-of-balance value to minimize out-of-balance issues. Specifically, a controller of the washing machine appliance uses the camera assembly to obtain one or more images of the wash chamber, analyze the one or more images using a machine learning image recognition process to determine the out-of-balance value of the load of clothes in the wash basket, and perform a cloth redistribution process based at least in part on determining that the out-of-balance value is greater than a predetermined out-of-balance threshold.

摘要： A washing machine includes a first washing compartment to hold a first set of articles to be washed and a second washing compartment to holds a second set of articles to be washed, the second washing compartment having an inserted position and a removed position. A liquid flow valve is configured to connect to an external liquid source to selectively control flow of liquid from the external liquid source and into one or more of the first washing compartment and the second washing compartment. An electric motor is configured to rotate the first washing compartment, and the second washing compartment, when the second washing compartment is in the inserted position. A controller, in communication with the electric motor, determines a mass of the second set of articles and then determines, as a function of the determined mass, a volume of water to be added to the second washing compartment.
