    Abstract: A direct current relay is disclosed. A movable contact part provided on a direct current relay, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises a movable contact and a pin member that is through-coupled to the movable contact. The movable contact can be supported by the pin member and simultaneously move on a straight line along the pin member. Therefore, even when a physical force is applied to the movable contact, the movable contact does not arbitrarily separate therefrom. The pin member is coupled to a support member insertion-coupled to a housing and an upper yoke. The pin member is formed to have a diameter larger than that of a hollow formed in the support member. The pin member can be insertion-coupled to the support member. Therefore, arbitrary separation of the movable contact can be prevented even without a separate fastening member.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a direct current relay and a manufacturing method therefor. A movable contact part provided in a direct current relay comprises a movable contact and a lower yoke positioned below the movable contact configured to attenuate an electromagnetic repulsive force generated by contact between the movable contact and a fixed contact. The movable contact is provided with a coupling protrusion portion that protrudes downward. The lower yoke is provided with a movable contact coupling portion into which the coupling protrusion portion is inserted. The coupling protrusion portion can receive pressure directed radially outward after being inserted into the movable contact coupling portion. The coupling protrusion portion is expanded radially outward by the pressure. Accordingly, the outer circumferential surface of the coupling protrusion portion can be inserted into and coupled to the inner circumferential surface of the lower yoke that forms the movable contact coupling portion.

    Abstract: An arc path formation unit and a direct current relay are disclosed. The arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. Each magnet part is arranged adjacent to a plurality of fixed contacts. Opposing surfaces of the plurality of magnet parts located adjacent to one fixed contact and facing each other, the opposing surfaces facing each other, and opposing surfaces of the magnet parts located adjacent to another fixed contact, the opposing surfaces facing each other, are configured to have the same polarity. Accordingly, electromagnetic forces formed in the fixed contacts are formed in a direction away from each other and away from a central portion. Accordingly, damage to each configuration of the arc path formation unit and the direct current relay caused by a generated arc can be minimized.

    Abstract: Shown are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. The arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of magnet parts. The magnet parts form a magnetic field at the point at which each fixed contact is positioned. Each magnet part positioned adjacent to each fixed contact is formed so that opposite surfaces thereof facing each other have different polarities. An electric current flowing through the fixed contact and a movable contact, and the magnetic field generated by each magnet part form an electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic force moves away from the center of the direct current relay. Therefore, the generated arc moves in the direction of the electromagnetic force so as to move away from the center of the direct current relay. Thus, damage to the direct current relay can be prevented.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an arc path forming unit and a direct current relay comprising same. The arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a single magnet unit disposed on one side of a magnet frame, and a plurality of magnet units disposed on another side opposite to the one side. The plurality of magnet units are sequentially arranged in the longitudinal direction. One side of a magnet unit positioned between at least two of the plurality of magnet units and facing the single magnet unit is magnetized with the same polarity as that of one side of the single magnet unit facing the magnet unit. As such, magnetic fields in the direction of exerting repulsive forces on each other are formed in the central portion of the direct current relay. Accordingly, since the arc does not move to the central portion, damage to components disposed in the central portion can be prevented.

    Abstract: The present invention disclosure relates to a direct current relay and, more particularly, to a direct current relay including a mover assembly having improved support force with respect to a movable contactor. The direct current relay according to an embodiment of the present invention disclosure comprises a pair of fixed contactors and a movable contactor which is moved up and down by an actuator to come into contact with or be separated from the pair of fixed contactors, comprises a mover support disposed below the movable contactor and connected to the actuator by a shaft; a mover holder disposed above the movable contactor and fixed to the mover support; a contact pressure spring disposed between the movable contactor and the mover support to provide a contact pressure to the movable contactor; and a supporting pin installed to extend through the movable contactor and the mover holder.
