Abstract: Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. One of the plurality of magnet parts is disposed on one surface of a magnet frame. The remaining magnet parts among the plurality of magnet parts are disposed on the other respective surfaces of the magnet frame. The magnet part disposed on the one surface is formed longer than the other magnet parts. Also, the magnet parts disposed on the other surface are spaced apart from each other as far as possible. Accordingly, the magnetic field formed between the magnet parts is formed such that the electromagnetic force generated in each of stationary contacts is generated in a direction away from the central region. As a result, damage to components disposed in the central region can be prevented.

Abstract: An arc path forming part and a direct-current relay are disclosed. An arc path forming part according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a magnet frame extending in the length direction; and a plurality of main magnet portions placed in the length direction. The respective opposing surfaces of the main magnet portions facing each another have the same polarity. Therefore, magnetic fields in the direction of pushing away from each other are generated in a space between the respective main magnet portions. Due to the magnetic fields, an electromagnetic force in the direction toward the outside of the arc path forming part is formed. Accordingly, the generated arc is moved in the direction of the electromagnetic force and can be stably extinguished. Therefore, various members positioned in the central part of the direct-current relay are prevented from damages caused by the arc.

Abstract: Disclosed are an arc path formation unit and a direct current relay including same. An arc path formation unit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of magnet parts. The magnet parts, positioned adjacent to respective stationary contacts, are configured such that surfaces facing each other have different polarities. Also, some of the plurality of magnet parts are disposed at an incline relative to other magnet parts. Thus, magnetic field is formed by the plurality of magnet parts to obliquely pass by each of the stationary contacts. The electromagnetic force generated by the magnetic field is imparted in a direction away from the central region of a direct current relay. Accordingly, the generated arc moves in a direction away from the central region of the direct current relay, and thus damage to the direct current relay can be prevented.

Abstract: Disclosed are an arc path forming unit and a direct current relay comprising same. The arc path forming unit, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, comprises a plurality of magnet units disposed adjacent to each of fixed contacts. At least one of the plurality of magnet units disposed adjacent to each fixed contact is configured so that the side thereof facing the rest of the magnet units has a different polarity. Accordingly, an arc path is formed from each fixed contact in different directions from each other. Further, the arc path is formed so as to move away from the center part of the arc path forming unit. Accordingly, damage to components disposed in the center part may be prevented.

Abstract: An arc path forming unit and a direct current relay including same are illustrated. The arc path forming unit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises multiple magnets. Each of the magnets is configured to form a magnetic field at a point where each stationary contact is located. Each of the magnets located adjacent to each stationary contact is configured such that the opposite surfaces thereof have different polarities. A current flowing through a stationary contact and a movable contact and a magnetic field formed by each of the magnets generate an electromagnetic force. The electromagnetic force travels in a direction away from the center of the direct current relay. Therefore, a generated arc travels in the direction of the electromagnetic force and is thus moved in a direction away from the center of the direct current relay. Accordingly, the direct current relay can be prevented from being damaged.

Abstract: A direct current relay is disclosed comprising a pin member and a support member. The support member allows a housing for receiving a movable contactor and an upper yoke for attenuating electromagnetic repulsive power to be coupled to each other. The pin member passes through and is coupled to the support member and the movable contactor to prevent the movable contactor from being unintendedly separated. The support member passes through and is coupled to the housing and the upper yoke, and then extends toward the radial outside by receiving applied pressure which faces the radial outside. The pin member passes through and is coupled to the support member, and then extends toward the radial outside when the pressure is released. Therefore, a separate fastening member for coupling the pin member and the support member to the housing, the upper yoke, the movable contactor, and the like is not required.
