摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to communicating time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) data using one or more dedicated resource units (RUs). A station (STA) decodes a trigger frame received from an access point station (AP) encoded to indicate resource units (RUs) of an UL PPDU for an uplink multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiple access (UL MU OFDMA) data transmission by a first and a second station STA. The trigger frame may also be encoded to indicate configuration information for a dedicated RU for time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) UL data. The dedicated RU may be one RU of one or more RUs of the UL PPDU that are reserved for time-critical communications. The STA may encode time-critical ULL UL data for transmission to the AP on the dedicated RU during the uplink MU OFDMA data transmission by the first and second STAs. The time-critical ULL UL data may start at any time during transmission of the UL PPDU. Medium access control layer (MAC) padding may be included in a MAC payload until the time-critical ULL UL data is available at the MAC layer of the STA.

摘要: An access point station (AP) communicates with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within a synchronized transmission opportunity (S-TXOP). The S-TXOP may comprise an S-TXOP trigger followed by a plurality of S-TXOP slots. After transmission of the S-TXOP trigger, the AP may encode, for transmission within an S-TXOP slot, a downlink (DL) multi-user physical layer protocol data unit (DL MU-PPDU). The DL MU-PPDU may include a preamble followed by a data field. To indicate that a previously signaled resource unit (RU) allocation is to be used during the S-TXOP slot, the AP may encode the preamble to include an allocation ID of the previously signaled RU allocation in a signal field (SIG) of the preamble and to include a SIG-2 presence indicator to indicate that a second signal field (SIG-2) is not included in the preamble.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to communicating time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) data. An access point station (AP) communicates time-critical ULL data using aggregated MAC Protocol Data Unit (A-MPDU) preemption. When time-critical ULL data for a second associated STA (STA2) becomes available at a medium access control (MAC) layer of the AP during transmission of a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) to a first associate station (STA1), the AP may encode the time-critical ULL data in a new A-MPDU subframe for insertion before one of the A-MPDU subframes of the PPDU that has not yet been transmitted. The new A-MPDU subframe may be encoded to include zero-padding to set a size of the new A-MPDU subframe equal to a size of the A-MPDU subframe that has been preempted. The A-MPDU subframes 606 for STA1 may be encoded include a MAC address of the STA1 and the new A-MPDU subframe 608 may be encoded include a MAC address of the STA2.

摘要: To communicate with a plurality of non-AP stations (STAs) within synchronized transmission opportunities (S-TXOPs), an access point station (AP) performs an initial management frame exchange with the STAs. During the initial management frame exchange, one or more sets of semi-static allocation parameters are signalling to the STAs. Each set of semi-static allocation parameters is associated with an allocation index (IDx). The AP may communicate data with the STAs during S-TXOPs that follow the initial management frame exchange. Each of the S-TXOPs may include an S-TXOP trigger. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include one of the allocation indices to indicate a known allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when a set of the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are to be used. The S-TXOP trigger may be encoded to include full allocation information to indicate a new allocation for use during the associated S-TXOP when the predetermined semi-static allocation parameters are not used.

摘要: A Quality-of-Service (QoS) Management AP is configured to support QoS Management features and to perform a QoS Management Protocol. The AP decodes an Enhanced Add Traffic Stream (E-ADDTS) Request QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Req) received from a station (STA) to initiate QoS setup for a traffic stream. The STA may be a QoS Management STA configured to support the QoS Management features and perform the QoS Management protocol. The AP may encode, for transmission to the STA in response to the E-ADDTS Req, an E-ADDTS Response QoS Action Frame (E-ADDTS Resp) which includes a status code to indicate whether the QoS setup has been accepted. When the QoS setup is accepted, the E-ADDTS Resp includes a QoS setup ID within a QoS setup ID field in the E-ADDTS Resp that uniquely identifies the QoS setup for the traffic stream.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices related to an EHT multi-AP group are described. The coordinated APs of the EHT group are synchronized to the coordinator AP using a periodic or non-periodic frame. Each coordinated AP then synchronizes STAs associated with the coordinated AP. In response to an MPDU, either triggered by a trigger frame from the coordinator AP or initiated by the STA, an ACK frame or NDP response is sent by each AP receiving the MPDU. The response to the MPDU is dependent on whether frame aggregation is used, as well as whether the trigger frame triggers transmission of MPDUs from multiple STAs.

摘要: A multi-link device (MLD) configured for reporting per-port frame replication and elimination for reliability (FRER) capabilities uses a per-Port FRER-capabilities object generated by upper MLD MAC layer to indicate per-Port FRER capabilities of lower layers including lower MAC and PHY layers. 摘要: A wireless communication station, method, and related computer program product are provided for communicating over a wireless communication medium. The station comprises an allocation unit configured to allocate a dedicated time-sensitive network (TSN) contention-based-access-period (CBAP) to a first pair of stations (STAs) to allow a synchronous TSN traffic flow between the first pair of STAs. The allocation unit allocates a shared TSN CBAP to a second pair of STAs to allow an asynchronous TSN traffic flow between the second pair of STAs using contention-based rules. The allocation unit allocates a shared non-TSN CBAP to a third pair of STAs to allow a non-TSN traffic flow between the third pair of STAs. The station further transmits over the wireless communication medium, a scheduling element to schedule a dedicated TSN CBAP, a scheduling element to schedule a shared TSN CBAP, and a scheduling element to schedule a shared non-TSN CBAP.
