摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to communicating time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) data. An access point station (AP) communicates time-critical ULL data using aggregated MAC Protocol Data Unit (A-MPDU) preemption. When time-critical ULL data for a second associated STA (STA2) becomes available at a medium access control (MAC) layer of the AP during transmission of a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) to a first associate station (STA1), the AP may encode the time-critical ULL data in a new A-MPDU subframe for insertion before one of the A-MPDU subframes of the PPDU that has not yet been transmitted. The new A-MPDU subframe may be encoded to include zero-padding to set a size of the new A-MPDU subframe equal to a size of the A-MPDU subframe that has been preempted. The A-MPDU subframes 606 for STA1 may be encoded include a MAC address of the STA1 and the new A-MPDU subframe 608 may be encoded include a MAC address of the STA2.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to communicating time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) data using one or more dedicated resource units (RUs). A station (STA) decodes a trigger frame received from an access point station (AP) encoded to indicate resource units (RUs) of an UL PPDU for an uplink multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiple access (UL MU OFDMA) data transmission by a first and a second station STA. The trigger frame may also be encoded to indicate configuration information for a dedicated RU for time-critical ultra-low latency (ULL) UL data. The dedicated RU may be one RU of one or more RUs of the UL PPDU that are reserved for time-critical communications. The STA may encode time-critical ULL UL data for transmission to the AP on the dedicated RU during the uplink MU OFDMA data transmission by the first and second STAs. The time-critical ULL UL data may start at any time during transmission of the UL PPDU. Medium access control layer (MAC) padding may be included in a MAC payload until the time-critical ULL UL data is available at the MAC layer of the STA.

摘要: Embodiments of an Extremely High Throughput Station (EHT STA) (STA1) configured for operating in a next-generation (NG) wireless local area network (WLAN) are described herein. In some embodiments, the EHT STA encodes a common signal field (SIG) (Coex-SIG) of an EHT PPDU to include a TXOP duration field. The TXOP duration field is more than seven bits to indicate an actual TXOP duration of a transmission from the EHT STA comprising the EHT PPDU transmitted to a second station (STA2). Decoding the TXOP duration field of the EHT PPDU by a third-party station (STA4) causes the third-party station (STA4) to defer a transmission until after an end of the transmission from the second station (STA2).

摘要: Embodiments of an AP and wake up radio (WUR) non-AP station (STA) are generally described herein. The AP may transmit a WUR packet to wake up a wireless local area network (WLAN) radio of the WUR non-AP STA. A non-WUR portion of the WUR packet may include legacy fields and a BPSK mark to spoof high throughput (HT) devices receiving the WUR packet. The AP may transmit the BPSK mark in a channel that includes a lower guard band, a transmission bandwidth, and an upper guard band. The AP may encode the BPSK mark in accordance with: on-off keying (OOK) modulation in a center portion of the transmission bandwidth; and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) in a remaining portion of the transmission bandwidth that excludes the center portion.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for ultra-low latency out-of-band radios are disclosed. Apparatuses of a station (STA) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to associate with an access point (AP) on a first channel using a first transmit power, encode a physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission on a second channel, and configure the STA to transmit the PPDU on the second channel with a second transmit power, wherein a bandwidth of the first channel is less than the bandwidth of the second channel and wherein the first transmit power is greater than the second transmit power. The second channel may be punctured based on overlapping basic service sets (BSS) (OBSSs) signal strengths. The use of the second channel is restricted for communications related to low-latency applications. The transmit power on the second channel is reduced to lower the interference with OBSSs.

A device may generate, during a first association of the device to a first access point, a request to authenticate the device to a second access point; send, during the first association, the request to authenticate; receive, during the first association, a response indicating that the device is authenticated to the second access point; generate, during the first association, a reassociation request to the second access point; determine that a time between sending the request to authenticate and generating the reassociation request is less than a threshold time; send, based on the determination that the time is less than the threshold time, the reassociation request to the second access point; and receive a reassociation response indicative of a second association of the device to the second access point.

The device may generate a traffic indication map (TIM) bitmap of a plurality of bits, wherein one or more bits are associated with an association identification (AID) corresponding to the STA MLD. The device may set the one or more bits to a first value to indicate that there is data to be retrieved by the STA MLD on any of the one or more links. The device may generate one or more beacon frames each comprising a same TIM element, wherein the TIM element comprises the TIM bitmap. The device may cause to send one or more beacon frames on each of the one or more links.
