Abstract:
When a user records confidential data in a communicating object, the user inputs the confidential data which are encoded and transmitted, with a reference of the user, towards a server in order to record the encoded confidential data in association with the reference. When a user searches for a reference of another user of a communicating object in the communicating object, the user inputs a search datum which is encoded and transmitted to the server for comparing therein the encoded search datum transmitted to all of the encoded confidential data recorded in the server. The server transmits a reference associated with an encoded confidential datum corresponding to the encoded search data to the communicating object. In this way, the user of the communicating object is put into contact with the other user without knowing the data of the other user.
Abstract:
A method for capturing a sequence of video images, by means of an imager including an estimation of the parameters of a model of global motion between successive images. In one embodiment, the method comprises a measurement of local motions on edges of the images, and the estimation of the parameters of the global motion model is performed using the result of the measurement of local motions on the edges of the images.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for locating the iris in an image of an eye, comprising steps of locating the pupil in the image, of detecting positions of intensity steps of pixels located on a line passing through the pupil and transition zones between the iris and the cornea, on either side of the pupil, and of determining the center and the radius of a circle passing through the detected positions of the transitions.
Abstract:
A method for following hand movements in an image flow, includes receiving an image flow in real time, locating in each image in the received image flow a hand contour delimiting an image zone of the hand, extracting the postural characteristics from the image zone of the hand located in each image, and determining the hand movements in the image flow from the postural characteristics extracted from each image. The extraction of the postural characteristics of the hand in each image includes locating in the image zone of the hand the center of the palm of the hand by searching for a pixel of the image zone of the hand the furthest from the hand contour.

Abstract:
A method and a system for extracting a minutia mapping from a digital image, including dividing the image into regions; defining an orientation of each region based on the general direction of grooves in this region; and for each region: unidirectionally filtering the image portion along a direction perpendicular to the orientation of the region; locating the enters of gravity of the grooves based on the intensity of the filtering results, chaining up the barycenters along the general direction of the region grooves, and interpreting the results of the chaining to determine the presence of minutiae of end type or of branch type.
Abstract:
A method and a system for comparing a set of minutiae of a current image with a set of minutiae of a reference image, according to which the minutiae are sorted by their Cartesian coordinates in the image plane from a predetermined point of origin, a common path of similar minutiae is searched in the reference set and in the current set, and it is considered that there is an identity between the two images if the common path is comprised of a number of segments greater than a first threshold.
