摘要: An apparatus includes a processor that extracts a plurality of feature points from a biological image, calculates a feature value of each of the plurality of extracted feature points, normalizes the calculated feature values to values of N levels (N is any natural number) based on a distribution of the feature values, and translates each normalized feature value to binary data by setting a number of bits corresponding to the normalized feature value to one of two digits in accordance with to a given order to make the normalized feature value and the number of bits with the one digit proportional to each other.

摘要: In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes: obtaining a captured image including, (i) a latent fingerprint to be captured, and (ii) a template, surrounding the latent fingerprint, that contains plurality of symbols; extracting, using an image processing technique, one or more characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; calculating a resolution for the captured image based at least on the extracted one or more characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; generating a reconstructed desired image, based at least on (i) the calculated resolution of the captured image, and (ii) the one or more extracted characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; and providing the reconstructed desired image to a fingerprint identification system to perform a particular fingerprint operation.

摘要: An electronic device and method for measuring biometric information are provided. The electronic device includes at least one light emitter; light receiver; and a processor. The processor is configured to emit light outside of the electronic device through the at least one light emitter, obtain, through the light receiver, light reflected by an external object among the emitted light, obtain a signal generated based on at least a portion of the reflected light and corresponding to the external object, output guide information related to a location of the external object when the signal satisfies a first designated condition, and obtain biometric information about the external object when the signal satisfies a second designated condition. When a finger of a user finger of the electronic device is not accurately located at a bio sensor, by guiding an accurate grip location, biometric information about the user can be accurately measured.

In some examples, the biometric sensor is a fingerprint sensor or an image sensor.

摘要: A system performs processing of biometric information to create multiple templates. This allows biometric systems to be flexible and interact with a plurality of vendors' technologies. Specifically, a biometric sample is captured from a sensor and transmitted to a processing component. The biometric sample is then processed by a first algorithm to yield a biometric template and the template is stored and associated with a record identifier. The biometric sample is also processed by a second algorithm to yield a second template. The second template is stored and associated with the record identifier.

The image brightness non-uniformity correction method includes the steps of: (A) generating an initial input image having pixels arranged in a matrix, wherein each pixel has a corresponding pixel brightness and the initial input image has non-uniform brightness; (B) performing a pre-processing procedure on the initial input image, to generate a pre-processed image; (C) performing an image gradient correction procedure on the pre-processed image, to eliminate non-uniformity of the brightness of the initial input image; and (D) outputting an output image having an uniformity-processed brightness.
