摘要: A system and method includes implementing, by a base station (BS), a reliable ultra-low latency transmission mechanism in a grant-free uplink transmission scheme having defined therein contention transmission unit (CTU) access regions and a plurality of CTUs. Implementing the reliable ultra-low latency transmission mechanism includes defining a reliable ultra-low latency CTU (RULL-CTU) access region from a portion of the CTU access regions of the grant-free transmission scheme, defining an RULL-CTU mapping scheme by mapping at least a portion of plurality of CTUs to the RULL-CTU access region to define a plurality of RULL-CTUs, defining a reliable ultra-low latency user equipment (RULL-UE) mapping scheme by defining rules for mapping a plurality of RULL-UEs to the plurality of RULL-CTUs in an initial pattern for initial transmissions in a first transmission time interval (TTI), and a regrouped pattern for redundant transmissions in a second TTI subsequent to the first TTI.

摘要: A system and method for self-organized inter-cell interference coordination are provided. A method for controller operations includes receiving signal power measurements at a controller, determining an interference level based on the signal power measurements, generating relationship information based on the interference level, and determining frequency reuse modes for communications controllers controlled by the controller based on the relationship information.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to uplink cooperative multi-User Equipment (UE) cooperative transmission such as Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) transmission. Source data of a source UE that is to be transmitted via uplink cooperative transmission by multiple UEs, is transmitted to at least one cooperative UE over an SL. The source data is associated with an identifier for identifying the UE to the network equipment as a source of the source data. The multiple UEs transmit the source data and the identifier in an uplink direction to the network equipment. The network equipment receives the source data from the multiple UEs in a cooperative transmission such as cooperative MIMO transmission, and obtains the identifier for identifying the source UE as the source of the source data.

摘要: By defining more SCS options and Discrete Fourier Transform (“DFT”) options for transmissions in future networks, there arises cause to select from among the options, with aspects of the channel as guidance for the selection. In addition, new CP designs may be defined for use with the new SCS options and the new DFT options along with methods of selecting a CP design appropriate to a particular situation. The new CP designs may be shown to have smaller CP overhead when compared to the known CP designs used for known combinations of an SCS option with an FFT size option. New sampling frequency design options and new system basic timing options may also be defined, along with methods of making appropriate selections from among these options. Control signaling using higher layers may be used to distribute configuration options that include multiple SCS options, CP duration options, sampling frequency options and DFT size options per sub-band. Later, layer 1 signaling may be used to specify a particular option from among the multiple options.

摘要: Methods of bandwidth utilization are provided. Within a scheduling bandwidth, which may be an entire carrier bandwidth or a sub-band, scheduling is used to reserve a guard zone at the edge of the scheduled bandwidth. This can be based on the frequency localization capabilities of a transmitter that is to be scheduled. The guard zone may be defined to a resolution that is the same as the scheduling resolution in which case the guard zone is defined entirely through scheduling. Alternatively, the guard zone may be defined to a resolution smaller than the scheduling resolution in which case scheduling and further signaling may be employed to define the guard zone.

摘要: An apparatus and method for a wireless device to receive data in an eco state is provided. According to an embodiment of the disclosure, upon determining that data is to be transmitted to the wireless device in the eco state, a network node operates to transmit a unicast notification message to the wireless device in order to inform the wireless device of the impending data transmission. According to another embodiment of the disclosure, in response to receiving the unicast notification message, the wireless device operates to receive the data in accordance with the unicast notification message. To this end, the wireless device might for example try to receive data for a time period following the unicast notification message. Meanwhile, the wireless device may remain in the eco state.
