摘要： A magnetic recording medium comprising a non-magnetic support, a magnetic recording layer formed on one side of the support, and a back coat layer formed on the other side. The back coat layer is formed of a composition which comprises a dispersion, in a resin binder, of carbon black having a pH of 2.0 to 8.5 and a coloring power not less than 90 as determined by the ASTM method. The dispersion may further comprise a specific type of aliphatic acid-modified, fluorinated organosilicone in order to improve the travellability and durability of the medium.

A ratio between signal levels of pixels that are adjacent to the defective pixel and that have a different color from the defective pixel, and signal levels of pixels that are adjacent to pixels being located along the determine direction with respect to the defective pixel and having the same color as the defective pixel and that have a different color from the defective pixel, is acquired. A value obtained by multiplying an average value of the signal levels of the pixels used to calculate the signal level of the defective pixel by the calculated ratio is output as the signal level of the defective pixel.

摘要： A direction in which pixels highly correlated with a signal value of a pixel of interest exist is determined by using both signal values of a plurality of pixels of different colors from the pixel of interest and of a plurality of pixels of the same color as the pixel of interest among a plurality of peripheral pixels of the pixel of interest, and obtains pixel correction values corresponding to the respective directions. Weighted addition of those pixel correction values is performed in accordance with the degree to which the pixel of interest is of an achromatic color, and the pixel correction value for the pixel of interest is thus obtained.

摘要： A transmission for a counter-rotational propeller system of a watercraft outboard drive includes an improved clutch coupling which allows relative motion between a clutch and a portion of a clutch actuator, while reducing friction and wear between these components. The coupling includes an annular collar that is captured within an inner bore of the clutch. The ends of the collar are journaled within the bore for relative rotation between the collar and the clutch. Sufficient spacing also is maintained between the collar outer periphery and the inner bore wall to prevent contact between the collar and the clutch. A pin connects the collar to the clutch actuator.

摘要： A transmission for a counter-rotating propeller system of a watercraft outboard drive includes a reduced friction coupling between the inner and outer shafts which permits transfer of the thrust loading on the inner shaft to the outer shaft under a reverse drive condition. The inner and outer shafts include opposing transverse surfaces which are separated by a pair of anti-friction washers. The washers allow the shafts to rotate in opposite directions with minimum friction, while allowing the opposing surfaces to act on each other through the washers to transfer the trust loading when the watercraft is driven in reverse.

摘要： A transmission for a counter-rotating propeller system of a watercraft outboard drive has a compact arrangement so as to occupy less space in the lower unit of the outboard drive and thus provide increased flow area for exhaust discharge. The transmission includes a pair of counter-rotating gears. A front clutch selectively drives a main propulsion shaft by engaging either of the gears. A rear clutch drives an outer propulsion shaft by engaging the rear gear. The rear gear includes a bearing hub that receives the rear clutch which moves within the bearing hub between an engagement position and a non-engagement position. The overlapping arrangement between the rear gear and the rear clutch reduces the axial length of the transmission to present a compact arrangement of these components.

摘要： In the ground fault detecting circuit, one terminals of first to third resistance elements are connected to first to third AC lines, respectively, the other terminals of the first to third resistance elements are commonly connected to one terminal of a fourth resistance element, and the other terminal of the fourth resistance element is connected to a line of a ground voltage. On the basis of a voltage across the terminals of the fourth resistance element, the ground fault detecting circuit detects whether a ground fault has occurred or not. Since a current does not flow through the fourth resistance element in the normal state and flows through the fourth resistance element after the occurrence of a ground fault, it is possible to detect the occurrence of the ground fault at a high accuracy.
