    摘要: The shell main body for a muffler includes an inner shell in a cylindrical shape with a cross-section of an imperfect circle defined by small arc portions alternating with large arc portions; and an outer shell wrapping the inner shell and formed in a cylindrical shape similar to the inner shell. An end portion of the inner shell and an end portion of the outer shell are overlapped in a circumstantial direction of the shell main body to form a shell overlap portion that is capable of discharging vapor in a gap of the large arc portions formed between the inner shell and the outer shell into one of an outside and an inside of the shell main body. This shell overlapping portion is located in one of the small arc portions.

    摘要: The present invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition that excels in the slidability and mold release ability at molding of thermoplastic resin by virtue of mixing of a small amount of a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer excellent in powder characteristics. The present invention can solve the above-mentioned problem by providing thermoplastic resin composition comprising 0.01 to 5% by weight of a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (C) and 99.99 to 95% by weight of a thermoplastic resin (D), wherein the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (C) is obtainable by polymerizing 40 to 10 parts by weight of a vinyl monomer (B) in the presence of 60 to 90 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane (A) with a proviso that a sum of (A) and (B) is 100 parts by weight, a graft ratio of the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (C) is less than 1%, and a content of methyl ethyl ketone-insoluble matter in the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (C) is 3% by weight or less.

    摘要: An automatic stitch adjusting mechanism for use in a multiple knitting station circular knitting machine having a plurality of knitting needles supported in a rotating needle cylinder for vertical movement parallel to the axis of rotation of the needle cylinder is disclosed. A plurality of raising cams engage the needles for raising the needles. A plurality of stitch cams engage the needles for lowering the needles. The stitch cams are vertically movable for adjusting the size of the formed stitch. The automatic stitch adjusting mechanism includes a plurality of vertically movable stitch cam control members operatively connected to respective stitch cams. A drive motor connected by a belt and clutch mechanism to the stitch cam control members adjusts the vertical position of the control members and clutch mechanisms retain the control members in their adjusted positions.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer capable of further improving impact resistance of a vinyl chloride-based resin without causing a significant problem such as lowering of transparency, and a vinyl chloride-based resin composition containing the copolymer. The above object is achieved by a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer (C) obtained by graft-polymerizing 65 to 5 parts by weight of at least one monomer (B) selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic acid ester, aromatic vinyl, and a vinyl cyanide compound under a presence of 35 to 95 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane (A) consisting of 0.001 to 0.5% by weight of a bifunctional siloxane-based graft-crosslinking agent (a) and 99.999 to 99.5% by weight of organosiloxane (b) (with the proviso that a total of (A) and (B) is 100 parts by weight), the graft copolymer characterized by having a degree of swelling of acetone-insoluble matter in toluene being 4000% or more; and a vinyl chloride-based resin composition containing the graft copolymer.
