    摘要: A rubber-containing resin composition suitable as an impact modifier for styrene resins (such as styrene homopolymer and copolymers and polymer alloys thereof with other thermoplastic resins), which comprises (A) a graft copolymer having a graft ratio of 10 to 80% by weight wherein a graft component comprising 15 to 60% by mole of at least one vinyl cyanide compound, 40 to 85% by mole of at least one aromatic vinyl compound and 0 to 30% by mole of at least one other monomer copolymerizable with them is graft-copolymerized onto a diene rubber having a volume average particle size of 100 to 1,000 nm by an emulsion polymerization method, and (B) an emulsion-polymerized copolymer of 15 to 60% by mole of at least one vinyl cyanide compound, 40 to 85% by mole of at least one aromatic vinyl compound and 0 to 30% by mole of at least one other monomer copolymerizable with them, which has a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 90,000 and a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight of 1.5 to 4.5, in which the ratio of the graft copolymer (A) to the copolymer (B) is from 50/50 to 95/5 by weight. A styrene resin composition comprising the rubber-containing resin composition and a styrene resin provides molded articles having excellent properties such as impact resistance, mechanical property, heat resistance and surface appearance with good processability.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition is disclosed, which comprizes 5-55 weight % of a copolymer (A) whose glass transition temperature is not more than 0.degree. C., and 95-45 weight % of a high .alpha.-methylstyrene-content ABS resin (B) and/or a maleimide-type ABS resin (C), both (B) and (C) being not less than 100.degree. C. in thermal deformation temperature (load 18.6 kg/cm.sup.2), and said resin composition being not less than 10 kg.cm/cm in Izod impact strength (23.degree. C.). The resin composition provides molded articles less deformable at high temperatures, low in impact-induced stress, i.e, high in impact energy absorptivity, and thus is suitable for trim parts for use in interior decoration of automobiles.

    摘要: A rubber latex with its particles grown through cohesion by adding 100 weight parts of (B) a rubber latex (solid), 0.1-15 weight parts (solid) of (A) an acid group-containing latex having an average particle size of 50-500 nm prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising (a), (b), (c) and (d) [wherein (a)+(b)+(c)+(d)=100 weight %]: (a) 5-25 weight % of at least one of unsaturated acids selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, itaconic acid and crotonic acid, (b) 20-95 weight % of at least one of alkyl methacrylates with its alkyl group 1-12 in carbon number, (c) 0-30 weight % of at least one of alkyl acrylates with its alkyl group 1-12 in carbon number, (d) 0-40 weight % of at least one selected from the group consisting of aromatic vinyls, compounds having at least two polymerizable functional groups in a molecule and vinyl cyanides, copolymerizable with the aforementioned (a), (b) and (c) is provided. The rubber latex and a graft copolymer containing it and thermoplastic resins incorporating said graft copolymer are excellent in impact strength, heat resistance and workability.

    摘要: To provide an acrylic film, composed of a resin composition (C) that includes an acrylic graft copolymer (A) containing an acrylic ester rubber-like polymer and a methacrylic polymer (B) containing 80% by weight or more of methyl methacrylate, wherein (1) the content of the acrylic ester rubber-like polymer in the resin composition (C) is 5% by weight or more and 30% by weight or less, (2) the average particle size of the acrylic ester rubber-like polymer is 500 to 2000 Å, (3) the relationship between the average particle size d (Å) of the acrylic ester rubber-like polymer and the amount w (% by weight) of crosslinking agent used in the acrylic ester rubber-like polymer satisfies the following equation: 0.002d≦w≦0.005d, (4) the graft ratio of the acrylic graft copolymer (A) is 30% or more and 200% or less, and (5) the reduced viscosity of methyl ethyl ketone soluble matter in the resin composition (C) is 0.2 to 0.8 dl/g.
