Abstract: Methods and systems for streaming venue-based to one or more mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, tablet computing devices, laptop computers, smartwatches other wearable computing devices). Venue-based data (e.g., video, audio, other data) can be processed via one or more servers associated with a packet based wireless network having at least some aspects of a wireless network that can employ one or more optical frequency bands and one or more radio frequency band for data communications, said venue-based data associated with a venue (e.g., a stadium, baseball park, eSports event, etc.). The venue-based data can be wirelessly streamed from packet based wireless network to a mobile device (or multiple mobile devices) for display via a display screen associated with the mobile device after processing (e.g., image processing) of the venue-based data.

Abstract: Self-contained pods for use at venues can include wireless communications electronics, one or more telescoping masts, and one or more cameras mounted on the mast(s). Pods can provide extended data communications for mobile device users at the venue and can also capture video from the perspective of the pod. A synchronized data server can assure that data is synchronized with a control server and/or with other pods containing synchronized servers at the venue. A telescoping mast can also serve as an antenna and lift cameras to various heights where cameras provide different perspectives to spectators based on pod location and mast height. A rechargeable power source with the pod can be recharged by a solar panel. A second camera can capture security footage of activity around the pod and prevent/deter tampering. Optional sensors can provide environmental and/or security data for the pod.
