    摘要: Method and device for naming digital image data files stored on a camera enabled device having an image sensor, an audio sensor, a display and a memory, including: capturing image data through the image sensor; automatically displaying on the display a default filename for an image data file for the captured image data; monitoring the audio sensor for voice input upon detecting a user input selecting the default filename, and determining a new filename for the image data file in dependence on a text translation of the voice input. A folder name can alternatively be determined in dependence on a text translation of a voice input and an image data file for the captured image data saved in the memory using a folder having the folder name.

    摘要: A password-protected wireless communications device can send a map or other location information about the current location of the device to the one or more emergency contacts by utilizing an emergency interface element that bypasses a password prompt. The location information may include an address and route directions to the current location of the device. The location information may also include a map of, and directions to, the closest hospital. The device can also render its own map to show a first responder where the closest emergency contact is located or where the nearest hospital or medical service provider is situated.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus employing non-magnetometer navigational sensor data to assist in determining whether a change in a magnetic field detected by a magnetometer is likely due to a source of internal or external magnetic interference, and more generally, whether such interference is likely to be persistent or transient. If the magnetic field data detected by the magnetometer indicates a large change in magnetic field, but the non-magnetometer navigational sensor (e.g., gyroscope) data does not indicate a corresponding change in orientation of the mobile device contemporaneous with the change in magnetic field, then the cause of the magnetic field change may be determined as likely originating from a localized external interference source and the device may prompt the user to move away from the interference source, rather than initiating a recalibration of the magnetometer.

    摘要: A wireless communications device displays emergency information such as, for example, contact information for multiple next of kin or other contact persons as well as personal, medical or travel-specific information about the owner of the device. This emergency information is made accessible on a graphical user interface or display screen of the device to a first responder, paramedic or other person coming to the rescue of the owner of the wireless communications device. Multiple contacts, which may optionally be arranged in order of proximity to the current location of the device, are presented to the first responder so as to provide the first responder with alternate contacts. Where the contacts are dynamically re-prioritized in terms of relative distance to the current location of the device, the emergency contacts that are presented to the first responder have the added advantage of being more geographically relevant and easier to understand based on relevant content being translated to a language appropriate to the current location.
