Abstract:
A handle securing device for securing handles of pots and pans. There is: a base member. Coupled to the base member are: a first vertical barrier member; a second vertical barrier member; and an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism includes a suction cup. The first and second vertical barrier members are substantially rigid, substantially curved, and substantially identical. The first vertical barrier member is removably coupled to the base member at a first attachment port; and the second vertical barrier member is removably coupled to the base member at a second attachment port. There is: a third vertical barrier member, removably coupleable to the first attachment port; and a fourth vertical barrier member, removably coupleable to the second attachment port.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided through which in some embodiments an X-Ray energy target includes composite material that varies spatially in thermal properties, and in some embodiments, the composite material varies spatially in strength properties. In some embodiments, the spatial variance is a continuum and in other embodiments, the spatial variance is a plurality of distinct portions.
Abstract:
An x-ray target assembly is provided comprising a center hub element affixed to a drive shaft and an outer disc including a plurality of tab extensions removably engaging the periphery of the center hub element. A target element is mounted on an upper outer disc surface.
Abstract:
A slotted window collector assembly for an x-ray tube having an anode and a cathode includes a collector having an anode side and a cathode side, which opposes the anode side. The anode side and the cathode side define an internal bore there between for receiving x-rays from the anode. The slotted collector further includes a window side common to both the anode side and the cathode side and having a window coupled thereto, wherein a window aperture is defined extending from the window to the internal bore. Within the collector assembly, a slot is defined intersecting the window aperture and extending trans-axially thereto and beyond a set length. The slot also extends circumferentially with the window such that plastic strain on the window and heat transferred to the window are reduced.
Abstract:
An x-ray assembly is provided comprising a target shaft and an x-ray target element mounted to the target shaft. A circumferential feature is formed in the x-ray target element. At least one weight element is adapted to be securable in a plurality of positions within the circumferential feature such that the x-ray target element can be balanced around the target shaft.
Abstract:
A target for generating x-rays includes a target substrate comprising molybdenum and having a beveled surface according to a desired track angle, a track comprising tungsten and configured to generate x-rays from high-energy electrons impinging thereon, wherein the track comprises a brazing surface having an area that is less than an area of the beveled surface of the target substrate, and a braze joint attaching the brazing surface of the track to the beveled surface of the target substrate.
Abstract:
The embodiments disclosed herein relate to the thermal regulation of components within an X-ray tube, and more specifically to heat transfer between the anode and the rotary mechanism to which the anode is attached. For example, in one embodiment, an X-ray tube is provided. The X-ray tube generally includes a fixed shaft, a rotating bearing sleeve disposed about the fixed shaft and configured to rotate with respect to the fixed shaft via a rotary bearing, an electron beam target disposed about the bearing sleeve and configured to rotate with the bearing sleeve, and a thermally conductive, deformable metallic gasket disposed between the target and the bearing sleeve and configured to conduct heat between the target and the bearing sleeve in operation.
Abstract:
A target for generating x-rays includes a target substrate, a target shaft attached to the target substrate, and a radiation emissive coating applied to at least one of the target substrate and the target shaft, wherein a center-of-gravity of the target is positioned between a front bearing assembly and a rear bearing assembly of an x-ray tube.
Abstract:
A system for automatically monitoring provisioning in a DSL network is disclosed. The system is operable to query network elements in the DSL network for information related to the provisioning of DSL services. Thereafter, the system analyzes the information to identify points of delay and/or failure in the provisioning process. If a delay exceeds a threshold value, an administrator is notified.
Abstract:
An X-ray tube target assembly and method of manufacturing same is provided. The X-ray tube target assembly comprises an injection molded target disk. The injection molded target disk includes an injection molded hub member and an injection molded outer member. The injection molded outer member comprises a plurality of injection molded outer member segments that are removably attached together and removably attached to the hub member to form the injection molded target disk. A target track is formed on an outer surface on one side of an outer periphery of the injection molded outer member.
