    摘要: An X-ray source device includes a cathode arrangement including a cathode device arranged to emit an electron beam therefrom. An anode arrangement includes an anode spaced apart from the cathode device at a focal distance and arranged to receive the electron beam from the cathode device at one of a plurality of focal spots thereon. The anode is movable such that each of the focal spots is alignable to receive the electron beam, in some instances while maintaining the focal distance of the anode from the cathode device. An associated method of forming an X-ray source device is also provided.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a radiographic imaging apparatus and a corresponding radiographic imaging method. The proposed apparatus comprises an X-ray source and a photon counting X-ray detector. The X-ray source comprises a rotary X-ray anode having a number of radial slits and a target layer provided on a surface of said rotary X-ray anode in between said radial slits for emitting X-ray radiation when hit by said electron beam. The said photon counting X-ray detector comprises a persistent current sensing and correction unit for sensing a persistent output current in a blanking interval during which no X-ray radiation is emitted by said X-ray source and for using the sensed persistent output current to correct a detector signal in a subsequent measurement interval during which X-ray radiation is emitted by said X-ray source.

    摘要: A structure and associated method for forming a liquid metal or spiral groove bearing assembly for an x-ray tube is illustrated that utilizes a unitary sleeve and a thrust ring or seal each formed of a weldable, non-refractory material. The sleeve and the thrust seal are welded to one another to provide an improved construction for minimizing leaks of the liquid metal bearing fluid. The structure of the sleeve and the thrust seal are formed with deformation restricting features that maintain the integrity of the bearing surfaces of the assembly when the thrust seal is secured within the sleeve and welded thereto to form the bearing assembly.

One cathode that functions as an emitter and two anodes that function as targets are disposed in a single straight-tube shaped vacuum vessel. The stereo x-ray generating device is characterized by the cathode being a cold cathode disposed in the center part of the vessel, the anodes being disposed each to one end of the vessel, and the spaces between the anodes disposed in the two ends of the vessel and the cathode being constituted such that the same can be moved closer or apart along the axial line of the vessel.

    摘要: An x-ray arrangement includes a vacuum container in, which a rotary anode and a rotor of an electrical machine are disposed. The rotary anode and the rotor have a torque-proof connection to one another and are rotatably supported in the vacuum container, so that the rotary anode and the rotor are rotatable around an axis of rotation. Viewed in a direction of the axis of rotation, a laminated stator core is disposed in an area of the rotor. The area of the rotor, in relation to the axis of rotation, surrounds the vacuum container radially outwards. A stator winding system is disposed in the laminated stator core. The stator winding system has windings embodied as a yoke winding.
