This invention provides a PSA sheet having excellent fog preventability and rough surface conformability. Provided is a PSA sheet that comprises a substrate and a PSA layer provided on one face of the substrate. The PSA layer has an adhesive face that exhibits a 180° peel strength of 0.30 N/20 mm or greater to a polypropylene rough surface. The PSA sheet also shows a fog preventability of 80% or greater in the glass fogging test.

Provided is a surface protective sheet substrate capable of forming a surface protective sheet endowed with both curling inhibition and adhesion mark inhibition. The surface protective sheet substrate provided by this invention comprises a polyolefin resin which accounts for more than 50% by weight of the entire substrate. The substrate comprises a layer X constituting a first surface of the substrate and a layer Y constituting the second surface of the substrate. The layer X is constituted with a resin composition having a tensile elastic modulus (EX) of 400 MPa or greater, but 750 MPa or less. The layer Y is constituted with a resin composition having a tensile elastic modulus (EY) of 400 MPa or greater, but 750 MPa or less. The layer X has a thickness tX and the layer Y has a thickness tY, satisfying 0.5≦tX·EX·tY·EY≦1.5.

The present invention provides a paint film protection sheet comprising a support substrate and a PSA layer placed on the support substrate. The PSA constituting the PSA layer comprises a non-crosslinked rubber-based polymer as a base polymer, a tackifier resin (TH) having a softening point of 120° C. or above, and a tackifier resin (TL) having a softening point below 120° C. The mass ratio (TL/TH) of the tackifier resin (TL) content relative to the tackifier resin (TH) content has a value of 1.0 or larger and 30 or less.

The present invention provides a surface protection sheet comprising a PSA layer on a support substrate. The PSA constituting the PSA layer comprises a rubber-based polymer as a base polymer and a tackifier resin having a softening point of 120° C. or above. The base polymer is not crosslinked. The tackifier resin content in the PSA is higher than zero part by mass, but 1.0 part by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the base polymer.

The present invention provides a surface protection sheet comprising a PSA layer having a thickness smaller than 10 μm on a support substrate. The surface protection sheet exhibits a holding time of 50 seconds or longer in a constant load peel test comprising: pressure-bonding a 25 mm wide piece of the surface protection sheet to a painted plate prepared by coating a steel plate with an acid-epoxy crosslinked acrylic paint; and at 5 minutes after the pressure-bonding of the surface protection sheet, applying a 100 g load to a first edge of the surface protection sheet piece so as to yield a peel angle of 90°; with the holding time being the time spent by the surface protection sheet piece after the application of the load until 5 cm thereof was peeled off.

The present invention provides surface protection sheet 10 comprising support substrate 1 and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 provided on support substrate 1. The pressure-sensitive adhesive constituting pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 comprises a polyisobutylene as its base polymer and a styrene/isobutylene block copolymer. The styrene/isobutylene block copolymer is contained in an amount larger than zero part by mass, but smaller than or equal to 70 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyisobutylene.
