    Abstract: An apparatus includes multi-flow communicating means adapted to perform a communication with a UE including a portion of a multi-flow communication to the UE; evaluating means adapted to evaluate the communication with the UE; and providing means adapted to provide a DTX/DRX information based on the evaluation. The DTX/DRX information is related to at least one of a discontinuous transmission state and a discontinuous reception state of the UE.     Abstract: A method of WLAN mobility set construction for mitigating the loss of data when a user equipment leaves a WLAN. A base station determines a location of and/or a mobility set for a user equipment in LTE-WLAN aggregation mode capable of communicating with an LTE cellular network and a wireless local area network. The wireless local area network has a plurality of access points for communicating with the user equipment. Each access point belongs to one of a plurality of mobility sets.     Abstract: There is provided a mechanism for conducting data transmission from a network management entity of communication network control element to a terminal or UE with improved robustness. After a multiflow connection for data units via at least one network transceiver device and via at least two different paths is set up towards a terminal, selection criteria are applied so as to decide which data units are sent on which transmission path. Specifically, dependent on the applied selection criteria, data units of specific data are selected to be subjected either to bicasting each selected data unit using the at least two paths, or to dynamic flow switching so as to transmit each selected data unit using one of the at least two paths and wherein each selected data unit can be in dependently chosen to be transmitted over either of the at least two paths.

    Abstract: The application relates to the removal of one of the links in multi-flow HSPA but the proposed method is also applicable to normal HSDPA operation during handover. In particular the application aims at minimizing the negative impact of a removed radio link, i.e. drop of packets and/or delays. According to the proposed method, in which the radio link to be removed is via a first Node B NB1 (RL Removal Req), the NB1 ends the pending data transmission and informs the controlling RNC about the data which was not transmitted, in particular in the form of the lowest sequence number in its buffer. Subsequently, the RNC decides, based on this sequence number, which data packets need to be retransmitted on a second radio link via a second node B NB2, and instructs NB2 accordingly (Data Forwarding).
