Abstract:
The invention refers to a set of panels, comprising a first panel having a lateral edge on which a first retaining profile is disposed, at least one second panel having a lateral edge on which a second retaining profile is disposed, which can be joined to the first retaining profile, wherein the panels are joined positively along the lateral edges by the retaining profiles in a direction parallel to a laying plane and in a direction perpendicular to the laying plane in the joined and laid state of the panels, a separate locking element associated with the first retaining profile which, during joining of the retaining profiles, moves from an assembly position into a locking position, wherein in a locking position the locking element ensures form closure at least in a direction perpendicular or parallel to the laying plane by a locking projection of the locking element engaging in a locking recess provided on the second retaining profile. The invention is characterised in that the first retaining profile and/or the locking element have retarding means which, on transition from the assembly position into the locking position, retard a movement of the locking projection in such a manner that a deformation stress is built up in the locking element during joining of the retaining profiles without the locking projection thereby resting on a surface of the second retaining profile.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a set of panels, in particular floor panels, comprising a first panel and at least a second panel, wherein the panels are respectively provided with a first edge and with a second edge, wherein the first edge and the second edge are configured to establish a connection between the first and the second panel, the first edge has a lower lip with a step, the second edge has a downwardly open locking groove, which in a connected state of the panels cooperates with the step and ensures a positive-fit connection in a first direction, which lies in a plane of laying, the connection can be established by a relative movement of the panels with respect to each other, perpendicular to, the plane of laying, and wherein a separate clip is provided, which is attached to the first edge or the second edge and has a moveable clip head, which in the connected state of the panels cooperates with a locking surface on the second edge or the first edge, respectively, in order to lock the panels vertically relative to the plane of laying. The panels are characterized in that the clip head, in a locking position, exerts a force on, the locking surface, which urges the second edge of the second panel against the lower lip of the first edge of the first panel, wherein the locking position lies between an undeformed initial position and an assembly position, in which the clip is maximally deformed when the profiles are connected.
Abstract:
A joint profile (1) intended to be arranged between panels (2 and 3 respectively). The joint profile (1) comprises a first edge portion (10) and a second edge portion (11). The first edge portion (10) comprises a main body portion (101), a bridge portion (102) being at one end connected to the main body portion (101) said bridge portion (102) further being provided with a distal edge (103) and a connector means (104) arranged close to the distal edge (103). The second edge portion (11) is provided with a second main body portion (111) comprising a connector receiving means (114). The main body portion (101) is provided with an edge portion (105) having a geometry adapted for joining with a selected edge (2′, 2″, 3′ and 3″ respectively) of the panels (2 and 3 respectively). The second main body portion (111) is provided with an edge member (115) having a geometry adapted for joining with a selected edge (2′, 2″, 3′ and 3″ respectively) of the panels (2 and 3 respectively).

Abstract:
A joint for panels, the panels comprising a core, a decorative upper surface and edges provided with joining means for positioning the panels towards one another. Predetermined portions of the edges are provided with a layer of polymer. The panels are joined to one another by use of the joining means where the polymer forms a seal in the joint preventing penetration of water into the joint wherein a highly water resistant unit of a plurality of panels is formed.
Abstract:
A decorative laminate, comprising an upper decorative layer and a carrying core. The upper side of the core is provided with the decorative layer and the lower side of the core is provided with a balance layer. The balance layer has the purpose of preventing warping of said decorative laminate and at the same time has the purpose of acoustic dampening. The balance layer comprises a polymer and cellulose said balance layer having a density in the range 30-300 kg/m3. A predetermined area portion of the balance layer is compressed so that the density is increased by a factor of 1.3 or more. Said increased density does not exceed the density 1100 kg/m3. The balance layer thereby forms at least one low density area and at least one high density area.
