The multi-layered article includes a substrate layer and a cover layer. The substrate layer preferably is a polymeric composition including a polycarbonate, a styrene containing polymer and an acicular filler. The substrate preferably forms a durable bond to the cover layer that maintains adhesion even after heat and climate aging.

摘要: A heat radiation sheet includes a low-hardness insulating heat-radiation layer and a high-heat-radiation insulating layer. Each of the low-hardness insulating heat-radiation layer and the high-heat-radiation insulating layer is formed by mixing a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), a thermally conductive filler, a flame retardant additive, a process oil, and an additive. A method of manufacturing a heat radiation sheet having a double-layered insulating structure, includes: a first step of forming a mixture by mixing a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), a thermally conductive filler, a flame retardant additive, a process oil, and an additive; a second step of melt-extruding the mixture at a temperature of 120 □ to 300 □ by a melt extrusion apparatus to from a melt extrudate; a third step of cutting the melt extrudate into a pellet form; and a fourth step of sheeting through melt-extruding the pellet into a sheet form by a melt extrusion apparatus.

摘要: A consolidated thermoplastic composite laminate with ultraviolet protection is provided. The consolidated thermoplastic composite laminate with ultraviolet protection comprises at least one ply of thermoplastic pre-preg material. The consolidated thermoplastic composite laminate with ultraviolet protection also comprises a polymer film positioned on a side of the at least one ply of thermoplastic pre-preg material. The polymer film imparts ultraviolet protection to the thermoplastic pre-preg material after the polymer film and the thermoplastic pre-preg material are heated to a temperature sufficient to consolidate the polymer film and the thermoplastic pre-preg material and thereby to provide the consolidated thermoplastic composite laminate with ultraviolet protection.

摘要: Hot melt adhesives with pressure sensitive adhesive properties for electronic devices are described. The hot melt adhesive comprises a styrenic block copolymer with fully hydrogenated and saturated soft blocks, a liquid diluent or a tackifier, a (meth)acrylate monomer or an oligomer having at least two (meth)acrylic functionalities per oligomer chain, and an initiator. The hot melt adhesive is also a reworkable UV curable optically clear adhesive film. The adhesive and film are suitable as a laminating PSA film or encapsulant for LCD display, LED display, touch screen, and flexible thin film photovoltaic module.

摘要: A disposable surgical gown is provided. The gown includes a front panel and sleeves formed from a first spunbond layer, a nonwoven (e.g., SMS) laminate, and a liquid impervious, moisture vapor breathable elastic film disposed therebetween. The gown also includes a first and second rear panels formed from a nonwoven laminate that is air breathable and allows for an air volumetric flow rate ranging from about 20 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) to about 80 scfm. The gown further includes a collar formed from an air breathable knit material positioned adjacent a proximal end of the gown. The collar defines a neck opening having a v-neck shape adjacent the front panel. The v-neck shape forms an angle of greater than 90° at the neck opening. The combination of features results in a reduced-glare gown that is stretchable and impervious to liquids, yet can still dissipate heat and humidity.
