    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide an electrode assembly package structure, comprising a package side and a sealing side extending along the length of the electrode assembly package structure, wherein the sealing side includes a first sealing segment that abuts the package side and a second sealing segment that is between the package side and the first sealing segment. The purpose of the present application is to provide an electrode assembly package structure capable of reducing the influence of the sealing side on the length of the package structure and improving the space utilization in the length direction.

    Abstract: The present application provides a wound electrode assembly, comprising a first and second electrode plates having a first and second current collectors respectively, the first electrode plate has an empty foil segment having an area where the first electrode plate is bent for the first time, and the second electrode plate has a second head segment; the second current collector in the second head segment is coated with active substance on both sides, and projections of a starting end and an ending end of the empty foil segment in a thickness direction fall on the second head segment. The purpose of the present application is to provide a wound electrode assembly to effectively avoid lithium dendrite while improving the utilization of the battery material and the energy density of the battery, thereby improving the safety performance of the battery.

    Abstract: The present application relates to an electrode assembly and a secondary battery. The electrode assembly includes a cell and a protective layer. The cell includes a cell body and an electrode tab protruding from a top surface of the cell body. In a length direction of the cell, at least one end of the protective layer extends beyond the height at which the anode electrode in the cell body protrudes at the end, and the extended dimension is no more than 3 mm. As such, the burr of the anode electrode of the cell body is wrapped by the protective layer, which alleviates the phenomenon that the burr on the anode electrode pierces the package bag and chemically reacts with the aluminum layer of the package bag, thereby reducing the risk of leakage of the package bag.
