    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to transmit power control for beam management. The first device transmits a first configuration to a second device. The first configuration indicates information about at least one candidate beam assigned to the second device. Alternatively, or in addition, the first configuration further indicates a correspondence between the at least one candidate beam and a plurality of transmission occasions, where the plurality of transmission occasions are allocated by the first device for transmission from the second device to the first device while the second device is in an inactive mode. The first device detects transmissions from the second device according to the first configuration at the plurality of transmission occasions. Through this solution, a beam management solution and efficient resource configuration for a device in an inactive mode is proposed.

    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of enhancing a report for random access channel (RACH). The method comprises in accordance with a determination that a random access attempt in a random access process for accessing a second device based on configuration information is performed, determining an entry for recording the random access attempt, the entry at least comprising fallback information indicating whether a change associated with the random access attempt has occurred; generating a report for the random access process at least based on the entry; and causing the report to be transmitted to the second device. In this way, with the UE RACH report, the network device may achieve a targeted optimization for the configuration for RA process, which may improve the efficiency of the RA process and decrease the cost due to a multiple of fallback.

A first device transmits to a second device a random access request comprising a first identification of the first device. The first device receives a response to the random access request from the second device. The response comprises a second identification from the second device for the first device and control information indicating a resource for communication between the first device and the second device. The first device compares the second identification with the first identification to determine data to be transmitted by using the indicated resource.

The first device in an inactive state performs a small data transmission procedure between the first device and a second device and transmits an indication to the second device.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable storage media for determining a transport block size (TBS) for Contention Free Random (CFRA) in a random access procedure. In example embodiments, a CFRA request is transmitted by a terminal device to a network device during a random access procedure. The terminal device receives a random access to the CFRA request from the network device. The random access response indicates a TBS granted by the network device for use in transmission. Based on the granted TBS, the terminal device transmits, to the network device, a first data block with the granted TBS or a second data block to be transmitted and stored in a buffer. In the way, the data may be avoided, and the data transmission efficiency may be improved.

    Abstract: While a transmission time interval (TTI) length of other than 1 ms is in effect for communication between mobile and network nodes, at least one timer related to discontinuous reception (DRX) is implemented according to a rule that defines a time duration of the timer different from a time duration of the same timer implemented when the TTI length is defined as 1 ms. There are a plurality of such DRX-related timers, and in certain embodiments each is associated with one rule of a set of rules for implementing the respective timer when the TTI length is other than 1 ms; and in particular examples the timers are associated with groups for this purpose and all the timers of at least one of the groups is implemented according to the same rule of the set. Thus new DRX parameters need not be sent anytime the TTI length changes.
