摘要: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform communicating in a network at least one packet over a transport protocol connection, identifying that latency reduction procedures for the transport protocol connection are to be performed, and preventing based on predetermined criteria specific ones of the latency reduction procedures from being performed. Further, in accordance with the example embodiments there is at least a method and apparatus to perform identifying that latency reduction procedures for a transport protocol connection with a mobile device in a network are to be performed, determining that specific ones of the latency reduction procedures are not to be performed, and providing to the mobile device an indication of predetermined criteria to identify the specific ones of the latency reduction procedures that are not to be performed.

摘要: Various techniques are provided for an apparatus that can identify a multicast and broadcast services session associated with user equipment device(s) in a serving cell associated with the apparatus, communicate a first information set including information associated with the serving cell and the MBS session provided in the serving cell, receive from an apparatus associated with a neighboring cell, a second information set including information associated with the neighboring cell and an MBS session provided in the neighboring cell, determine at least one MBS serving characteristic associated with the serving cell based on the UEs in the serving cell being served by the apparatus and the received second information set, determine whether the serving cell associated with the apparatus is a preferred cell to serve the MBS session to UEs based on the at least one MBS serving characteristic, and in response to determining that the serving cell associated with the apparatus is the preferred cell to serve the MBS session to UEs, serving, by the apparatus, the MBS session to the UEs communicatively coupled with the apparatus.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to reliable SPS configuration for MBS. In the solution, a first device starts a first timer upon receiving, from a second device, configuration of a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) for a multicast and broadcast service (MBS). Then if the first timer expires and there is no information received to activate corresponding SPS scheduled transmissions, the first device transmits to the second device a message indicating that the first device failed to receive the information. This solution allows reliable SPS configuration for MBS.

The beam quality of those target beams is determined along with beam quality of one or more other beams of the target cell. Dedicated uplink resources associated with the target beams and shared uplink resources are associated with the other beams. It is determined based on the beam quality which of the target and other beams is to be used to initiate a connection to the target cell.
