摘要： Remote installation system and method for enabling a user to obtain any software through a communication line and automatically install it without taking a long time and requiring labor. A host computer transmits first and second key tables and to a terminal and a display displays keywords, included in these tables on a screen. The user selects keywords, which correspond to his target software, on the screen and the host computer sends a list of software, which corresponds to the keywords he selected, to the terminal. He selects his target software prom the list which is informed to the host computer. The host computer selects it from a software group and stores it on a hard disk of the terminal through a communication line, after checking its operation circumstances using a circumstance file. It is automatically registered in the system and its drive icon is displayed in a storage window. A sub-directory for a distribution destination is automatically created corresponding to the selected software thereby reducing the user's workload.

摘要： An optical recording medium has a track format with a track pitch smaller than a diffraction limit of a light spot so as to realize an increased capacity and a higher density. A guide groove for tracking purposes is formed along each of the concentrically or spirally formed tracks in a periodic intermittent pattern with respect to a circumferential direction of the optical recording medium. The intermittent patterns of the guide grooves adjoining each other with respect to a radial direction of the optical recording medium are displaced in phase from each other. A light spot of a diameter greater than the track width is projected onto the optical recording medium in rotation and the position of the light spot is servo-controlled in the track width direction in such a manner that a light quantity distribution with respect to the track width direction of a reflected or transmitted light of the light spot diffracted by the selected guide groove maintains its symmetry in the track width direction.

摘要： Tantalum powder obtained by adding magnesium powder to tantalum powder which is prepared by reducing potassium tantalum fluoride with sodium metal, without conventional heat-treatment for agglomeration, to remove oxygen present in the tantalum powder, then washing with an acid and drying; an anode body for electrolytic capacitors produced by sintering the tantalum powder; and, an electrolytic capacitor which comprises the anode body incorporated therein. The tantalum powder has a large specific surface area and accordingly, the electrolytic capacitor in which the anode body produced from the tantalum powder is incorporated has an extra high capacity, i.e., a CV ranging from 70000 to 80000. The probability of causing ignition during the production process is substantially reduced and thus the tantalum powder can be handled with safety.

摘要： A terminal system having a video telephone equipment and a computer system. The video telephone equipment includes a communication unit connected to a line; a telephone unit for communicating with a remote station by speech via the communication unit and the line; and a camera unit for taking pictures and outputting video signals corresponding to the pictures. The video signals are transmitted to the remote station via the communication unit and the line. The video telephone equipment further includes a display unit for displaying images; and a processor for controlling the communication unit, the telephone unit, the camera unit and the display unit. The communication unit, the telephone unit, the camera unit, the display unit and the processor unit are coupled to each other by a first bus. The computer system includes a processor, coupled to an external unit by a second bus, for processing data supplied thereto via the second bus. The terminal system includes an interface circuit, coupled to the first and second buses, for intermediating between the video telephone equipment and the computer system so that data is transmitted from the computer system to the video telephone equipment via the interface means and vice versa.
