    Abstract: A lift device includes a base assembly, a turntable assembly, and a controller. The base assembly includes multiple base assembly batteries. The turntable assembly is rotatably coupled with the base assembly through a slip ring transmission. The turntable assembly includes multiple turntable assembly batteries. The controller is configured to operate the base assembly batteries to discharge electrical energy to the turntable batteries through the slip ring transmission. The slip ring transmission is configured to both (1) drive the turntable assembly to rotate relative to the base assembly and (2) to electrically and communicably couple electrical components of the base assembly with electrical components of the turntable assembly.

    Abstract: A telehandler includes a frame assembly, a series of tractive elements rotatably coupled to the frame assembly, a boom assembly, and an actuator selectively reconfigurable between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration. The boom assembly includes a lower boom section having a proximal end pivotably coupled to the frame assembly, an intermediate boom section pivotably coupled to a distal end of the lower boom section, and an upper boom section having a proximal end pivotably coupled to the intermediate boom section and a distal end configured to be coupled to an implement. The boom assembly is configured to move freely when the actuator is in the unlocked configuration. In the locked configuration, the actuator is positioned to couple the intermediate boom section to the frame assembly such that the actuator limits rotation of the lower boom section relative to the frame assembly.

    Abstract: A lift device includes a base assembly, a platform assembly, a lift assembly coupled between the base assembly and the platform assembly and including a lift actuator configured to raise or lower the platform assembly, a rotary motor configured to rotate the platform assembly, and a controller in communication with the drive motor, the lift actuator, and the rotary motor. The controller is configured to record steps performed by the lift actuator and the rotary motor during a positioning event that moves the platform assembly from an initial position to a work site, and operate the lift actuator and the rotary motor to perform the steps performed during the positioning event in a reverse order and in a movement direction that is opposite to a direction of the steps recorded during the positioning event to automate movement of the platform assembly from the work site to the initial position.
