Disclosed is a system and method for representing user interaction with a web service. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring a representation of the actions of a user performing a task with the web service; analysing the acquired actions to determine semantics and at least one variable describing the user to actions; and representing the semantics and the at least one variable in at least one script file, the at least one script file supporting performance of user interaction with the web service based on the semantics and a value provided for the variable.
Abstract:
A virtual machine with a hybrid just-in-time compiler that enables execution of a set of cross-platform code on a hardware platform. The hybrid just-in-time compiler consumes relatively few resources of the hardware platform by compiling only selected basic blocks of the cross-platform code and by making use of existing elements in the virtual machine that are otherwise used to interpret the cross-platform code. The just-in-time compiler is hybrid in that only selected basic blocks of the cross-platform code are compiled while the remaining portions are interpreted.

In one example, a method for image triggered transactions includes capturing an image of a document with an imaging device and searching a database for a template matching the captured image. If a matching template is found for the captured image, then retrieving pre-authored tasks associated with the captured image, extracting fields from the image related to the tasks, processing the extracted fields to obtain content to complete the tasks; and executing the selected task. If a matching template is not found for the captured image, then an authoring application is launched to add the captured image as a new template and author tasks associated with the captured image.

A system and method for virtualizing networked heterogeneous storage devices in a computing system using stateless servers is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes self discovery of mapping information between a plurality of virtual file systems to a plurality of physical file systems upon startup by a virtual data store (VDS) server. The networked heterogeneous storage devices include the plurality of physical file systems hosted on associated file servers. Further, each physical file system includes a storage space in which a plurality of data files may be stored.
