摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A receiving device and a transmitting device may utilize index modulation for full-duplex operations. The transmitting device, such as a base station or a user equipment (UE), may define blocks of resource elements (REs) for transmissions. The transmitting device may then transmit a power boosted index modulated signal at a data RE location within a resource allocation and may skip transmitting within the remaining REs of the resource allocation. The transmitting device may indicate the number of REs per RE block to the receiving device (e.g., a UE). The receiving device may use this information to perform energy detection for determining which REs within an RE block include the power boosted index modulated transmission and which REs within the RE block are empty REs. In some cases, the receiving device may use the empty REs for performing noise estimation.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for non-linearity estimation techniques for digital post distortion (DPoD) in a wireless system. In some aspects, a first wireless device may estimate a power amplifier (PA) non-linearity associated with a second wireless device using select signaling from the second wireless device. For example, the first wireless device may use a received signal to estimate the PA non-linearity if a dynamic power range associated with the signal triggers the estimation of the PA non-linearity (such as if the dynamic power range associated with the signal satisfies, or is expected to satisfy, a threshold dynamic power range). If the dynamic power range of the signal triggers the estimation of the PA non-linearity, the first wireless device may introduce DPoD to signaling received from the second wireless device in accordance with the estimation of the PA non-linearity.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more messages that indicate a capability of the UE to support the reception of demodulation reference signals (DMRS) and time drift reference signals (TDRS) according to one or more signaling patterns configured by the network. The UE may then receive one or more control messages that indicate a first signaling pattern for one or more DMRSs and a second signaling pattern for one or more TDRSs, where the first signaling pattern corresponds to or is based on the second signaling pattern. The UE may receive a downlink shared channel multiplexed with the one or more DMRSs according to the first signaling pattern and may receive the downlink shared channel multiplexed with the one or more TDRSs according to the second signaling pattern.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may report an initial capability to maintain latency conditions and a number of supported beams (e.g., a threshold number of beams the UE can support for relaying downlink communications such as synchronization signal blocks (SSBs)). A network entity may then transmit multiple SSBs directly to the repeater (e.g., on the same beam). The repeater may relay the SSBs across multiple beams to provide service to a coverage area. After relaying signaling between served UEs and the network entity, the repeater may transmit a report requesting a specific (e.g., improved or more accurate) number of beams (e.g., more beams or fewer beams than the number of SSBs initially provided). Upon receiving an updated configuration of a number of beams, the repeater may receive more SSBs on a single beam, and relay SSBs on the updated number of beams.

摘要: An apparatus for wireless communication at a UE is provided. The apparatus is configured to receive one or more pilot signals superimposed on a data signal from a network entity. The apparatus is further configured to receive an indication of a first set of locations in at least one of time or frequency from the network entity. The data signal or the scrambled data signal is near orthogonal to a channel estimation filter of the transmission channel between the network entity and the UE at the first set of locations. The apparatus is further configured to transmit characteristics of the transmission channel to the network entity. The characteristics of the transmission channel is determined based at least in part on the first set of locations.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may measure a received power of one or more reference signals, such as channel state information (CSI) reference signals (CSI-RSs) or synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), transmitted by a base station for a beam management procedure. The UE may determine a set of channel statistics associated with a channel used by the base station to transmit the one or more reference signals based on performing the beam management procedure. The UE may transmit a report to the base station, the report including at least an indication of the received of the one or more reference signals and the set of channel statistics. The base station may select a beam or a channel for communication with the UE based on at least the indication of the received power and the set of channel statistics.
