    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an encoder device may transmit a network coded sidelink retransmission that is associated with a set of transport blocks (TBs), the set of TBs associated with one or more sidelink transmissions. The encoder device may receive, from one or more user equipments (UEs), first feedback information, associated with the network coded sidelink retransmission, that indicates whether the one or more UEs successfully decoded the set of TBs. The encoder device may transmit, to a base station, second feedback information associated with the network coded sidelink retransmission that is based at least in part on the first feedback information.     Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a receiving sidelink user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first original message from a first transmitting sidelink UE. The method also includes receiving, from a network coding device, a network coded (NC) packet that is coded across the first original message and a second original message from a second transmitting sidelink UE. The first original message corresponds to a first transport block. The second original message corresponds to a second transport block.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a NC encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits a packet encoding a plurality of transport blocks previously transmitted by one or more transmitting devices. The NC encoding device receives a plurality of acknowledgments (ACK) or negative acknowledgments (NACK) for the plurality of transport blocks from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device determines whether a respective transport block has satisfied an ACK condition based on the plurality of ACKs or NACKs from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits an acknowledgment message to the one or more transmitting devices for at least the respective transport block.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding with binned feedback. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a network coding (NC) encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of user equipment (UEs). The UEs decode the transport block and report an acknowledgment (ACK) or negative acknowledgment (NACK) on a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource associated with a bin for the UEs. The NC encoding device decodes the PSFCH resource for each bin to determine an ACK or NACK status for each bin, and determines whether to encode the transport block in a NC combination packet. The UEs receive the NC combination packet including an encoding of a subset of transport blocks. The receiving devices transmit an ACK or NACK on a PSFCH resource for a bin for each transport block.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for delaying accept request messages for sidelink network coded communication. A network coding device can receive from a transmitting wireless communication device a sidelink transmission including a packet and a network coding request flag requesting the network coding device perform retransmission(s) of the packet. The network coding device can then receive feedback information for the first packet from a receiving wireless communication device that received the packet at a first time. In addition, the network coding device can transmit an accept request message to the transmitting device indicating whether the network coding device accepts performing retransmission(s) of the packet at a second time different than the first time.

    Abstract: An encoding device transmits an indication for a plurality of user equipments (UEs) to provide feedback for a network coding packet across multiple time periods. The encoding device transmits the network coding packet; and receives the feedback from the plurality of UEs across the multiple time periods. A UE receives an indication to provide feedback for a network coding packet that is staggered in a different time period than a baseline time period. The UE receives the network coding packet and transmits the feedback in one time period among multiple time periods associated with the network coding packet.
