    Abstract: A method of image processing includes capturing two frames of image data using a camera having a phase detection auto focus (PDAF) sensor, subtracting phase difference pixel data associated with the two frames of image data to produce residual phase difference values, detecting a region-of-interest change based on the residual phase differences values, and determining a focus for the PDAF camera sensor based on the detected region-of-interest change. The method may further include compressing the residual phase difference values, sending the compressed residual phase difference values to a processor, and reconstructing, with the processor, the phase difference pixel data from the compressed residual phase difference values.

    Abstract: Briefly, one particular example implementation is directed to an apparatus including a digital imager. The digital imager, in the example implementation, includes an array of pixels to capture an image frame. At least some pixels are to measure light component signals for an image and are also to measure Visible Light Communication (VLC) signals. Circuitry to crop an image frame of light signal measurements is included so that, for light signal measurements that remain after cropping, extraction of VLC signal measurements from light component signal measurements is able to be employed. It should be understood that the aforementioned implementation is merely an example implementation, and claimed subject matter is not necessarily limited to any particular aspect thereof.

    Abstract: In an aspect, camera sensor component receives, during a multi-virtual channel (VC) configuration session, a first configuration of a first VC associated with a first binning mode (e.g., full, 4×4, 8×8, etc.) and a second configuration of a second VC, the second configuration associated with a second binning mode (e.g., full, 4×4, 8×8, etc.). The camera sensor component detects trigger(s) to initiate streaming of activity frames associated with the first VC and the second VC. In response to the trigger(s), the camera sensor component streams first activity frames associated with the first VC in accordance with the first binning mode, and streams second activity frames associated with the second VC in accordance with the second binning mode.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may dynamically indicate a resolution change to a display of the UE during a video call. For example, a first UE may communicate a configuration message with a second UE to establish a video call between the first UE and the second UE and indicate a first value for a resolution of a display of the first UE. During the video call, the first UE may identify a change to the resolution of the display and may transmit a message to the second UE that indicates the change to the resolution. In response to receiving the message, the second UE may encode one or more packets including video information for the video call according to a second value for the resolution and transmit the one or more packets to the first UE.

The image capture device includes one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to determine a camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to display content via one or more of a plurality of pixels in the at least a portion of the display during the camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to not display content via the one or more of the plurality of pixels outside of the camera sensor blanking period.
