The present invention provides compounds and pharmaceutical compositions that are selective antagonists of A2B adenosine receptors (ARs). These compounds and compositions are useful as pharmaceutical agents. Also provided are processes for the preparation of the compounds and their intermediates.

A composite reservoir for an onboard fire suppression system includes an outer wall of composite material, with the outer wall having a generally cylindrical section. An inner reinforcement has a section inserted into the generally cylindrical section of the outer wall. A closure plug is inserted into the generally cylindrical section of the outer wall. The closure plug has an inner surface in contact with the inner reinforcement. A circumferential groove circumscribes the closure plug, and a tension member displaces the outer wall into contact with the circumferential groove, so as to maintain the closure plug in contact with the outer wall and the inner reinforcement.

A data storage device comprises a first substrate and a second substrate, wherein at least the first substrate has defined thereon a plurality of pits and lands covered by a reflective material; and a bonding layer between the first and second substrates including a reactive agent that interferes with the passage of light in response to predetermined stimulus. In another embodiment, an optically-readable storage media, comprises a substrate having encoded data stored thereon, a reactive agent that, in response to predetermined stimulus, interferes with the passage of light of a predetermined frequency range, and a second reactive agent that, in response to predetermined stimulus, degrades the readability of the encoded data.

A heat exchanger assembly includes hollow reinforcing members that define openings for receiving supports therein. An end cap is disposed in each open end of cylindrical header tanks and each of the header tanks includes a tubeless length (X) extending inwardly a predetermined distance from each end cap. An inlet and an outlet are disposed in a tubeless length (X). The ends of the reinforcing members extending over the tubeless lengths (X) of the header tanks which include a slot outside each end cap with a tab extending from each end of reinforcing members and into the adjacent slot. All of the components are brazed together in one operation.

An auxiliary power unit (APU) inlet muff anti-icing system that uses high pressure, high temperature APU compressor delivery air to melt any accumulation of ice and snow near the bottom of the muff with a tracer line coupled to a perforated gull wing fairing mounted within the inlet muff and that uses the compressor delivery air as the primary stream for an ejector to suck ice and snow melt accumulating near the fairing overboard.

Systems and methods for extending a directory schema independent of schema modification are described. In one aspect, a directory schema data structure includes a flexible attribute data field. The flexible attribute data field identifies a complex data type. The complex data type is used to express one or more operational or data providing properties of a flexible attribute. The one or more operational or data providing properties are independent of the complex data type and independent of directory schema modification. The directory schema data structure also includes a flexible structural object content class to encapsulate the flexible attribute.

The improved structure comprises a pair of side slats joined at their ends by hollow sleeves, the assemblage being held rigidly together and on the shifter by nuts and bolts passing through the sleeves.

A bird mister apparatus for attracting and cooling birds includes a base plate, a housing, and a reservoir within a housing inside configured to hold liquid that can be sealed and unsealed. A spout has a spout aperture extending through to the housing inside. A pump is coupled within the housing inside and is in fluid communication with the spout aperture. An inlet tube is coupled to the pump and is in fluid communication with the pump. A CPU is coupled within the housing inside and is in operational communication with the pump. A battery is in operational communication with the CPU and the pump. A power switch is in operational communication with the CPU to activate and alternatively deactivate the pump. A hanger is coupled to the housing to support the apparatus on a tree branch, a fence, or an awning.
