    Abstract: A hot water device includes a heat exchanger and an apparatus to which the heat exchanger is to be connected. First and second cases for the heat exchanger and the apparatus to which the heat exchanger is to be connected include first and second flange portions laid over each other and welded together. The first and second flange portions are each demarcated into a corner flange portion corresponding to one of first and second corner portions, and into a non-corner flange portion other than the corner flange portion. The non-corner flange portions protrude more to the outside of the first and second cases than the corner flange portions.

    Abstract: A case of a heat exchanging apparatus includes an opening section provided on the sidewall and a plate-like lid member for opening and closing the opening section. A heat exchange section of a heat transfer medium circulation pipe is fixed to the inner surface of a lid member via a frame body formed by combining bar-like members. When the lid member is at a position where the opening section is closed, the heat exchange section of the heat transfer medium circulation pipe is housed fixedly in the case, and when the lid member is at a position where the opening section is open, the heat exchange section of the heat transfer medium circulation pipe is withdrawn from the opening section out of the case. This can reduce labor for cleaning and maintenance of the apparatus effectively and improve efficiency of heat exchange of the apparatus.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly can include a support structure, a heat exchanger, and an air guide. The heat exchanger can be mounted to the support structure. The heat exchanger and the support structure can cooperate to define a gap. The air guide can block the gap to guide an airflow toward a core of the heat exchanger. The air guide can include a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end can be coupled to the support structure. The distal end can extend a first distance from the proximal end in a first condition and can extend a second distance from the proximal end in a second condition. The second distance can be less than the first distance.

    Abstract: A packing is held between a tank body and a header plate to secure sealing. Therewith, the width in a longer axis direction of an opening of a flat tube is wider and the width of the tank body is relatively narrow, resulting in a compact tank structure. A number of tooth parts protrude from the tank body at regular intervals, a tube end release part is formed between the tooth parts, and a side edge in a longitudinal axis direction of an opening of the flat tube is positioned therein. The tooth part, a flange part, a seal face of the header plate and a peripheral wall form a packing accommodation part, and a tip edge of the tooth part is seated on an edge of a convex part. The packing is arranged between the packing accommodation part and the seal face.
