Abstract: A shroud assembly can include a support frame with a locking slot and a hinge slot, and a shroud with a first pin and a second pin. The locking slot can receive the first pin to secure the shroud in a closed configuration. The hinge slot can receive the second pin to support the shroud in the closed configuration, in an open configuration, and during hinging of the shroud between the closed and open configurations. A tab can engage a notch to support the shroud at a predetermined angle relative to the support frame when the shroud is in the open configuration.

Abstract: A case of a heat exchanging apparatus includes an opening section provided on the sidewall and a plate-like lid member for opening and closing the opening section. A heat exchange section of a heat transfer medium circulation pipe is fixed to the inner surface of a lid member via a frame body formed by combining bar-like members. When the lid member is at a position where the opening section is closed, the heat exchange section of the heat transfer medium circulation pipe is housed fixedly in the case, and when the lid member is at a position where the opening section is open, the heat exchange section of the heat transfer medium circulation pipe is withdrawn from the opening section out of the case. This can reduce labor for cleaning and maintenance of the apparatus effectively and improve efficiency of heat exchange of the apparatus.

Abstract: A packing is held between a tank body and a header plate to secure sealing. The packing is arranged between the packing accommodation part and the seal face.

Abstract: An extruded fin pack assembly is provided which is positioned within an appliance cabinet. In the embodiments, the fin pack includes a plurality of fins which are mounted in a substantially vertical plane and create flowpaths for air flow currents therethrough. A cover is provided to attach to the fins and hide the fins from view when the cabinet of the refrigerator or freezer is open. The cover also increases efficiency of the flowpaths between the fins thereby increasing convection heat transfer and increasing removal of heat from within the cabinet.

Abstract: A heat exchanger (HEX) for cooling air in a gas turbine engine is provided. The HEX may comprise an intake manifold in fluid communication with a compressor section and configured to receive air from the compressor section, an outtake manifold in fluid communication with the intake manifold via a tube, and a cooling air flow path defined by at least one of an outer surface of the tube, an outer surface of the intake manifold, and an outer surface of the outtake manifold, wherein the cooling air flow path is orthogonal to said tube. The air from the intake manifold may travel through the tube to the outtake manifold and from the outtake manifold to a portion of the gas turbine engine.
