    摘要： The present invention relates to an assembly for a drug delivery device comprising a proximal end, a distal end and a moveable member, a dose member, a fixed member and coupling means, wherein in a first state, the moveable member is moveable in an axial direction with respect to the fixed member and the dose member and the coupling means retains the dose member to the fixed member, and wherein in a second state of the assembly, the moveable member is permanently connected with the dose member by means of the coupling means and the dose member is released from the fixed member and the assembly is configured to set and dispense a dose of a fluid medicinal product out of an assembled cartridge by movement of the dose member. Furthermore it relates to a method for setting-up a drug delivery device.

    摘要： The instant application is directed to an assembly for a drug delivery device which is arranged to operate in two distinct modes, a priming mode starting from a pre-priming state and a dispense mode operating in a post-priming state, and a drug delivery device comprising this assembly. The assembly comprises a dose member, an actuating member and a piston rod which is configured to act on a bung of an assembled cartridge containing the drug. In the pre-priming state the actuating member is configured to be moved by a user such that the movement of the actuating member causes a movement of the dose member and such that the movement of the dose member causes a movement of the piston rod. In the post-priming state the dose member is configured to be moved by a user without causing a movement of the actuating member in order to perform a set and dispense action of the drug delivery device.

    摘要： A method for securing a cartridge to a body for a drug delivery device is provided comprising the step of securing the cartridge to the body by means of a releasable connection to prevent accidental relative movement between the cartridge (4) and the body during assembly of the device. Afterwards, the releasable connection is modified irreversably into a non-releasable connection such that the cartridge is permanently secured to the body. Furthermore, an assembly for a drug delivery device is provided comprising a cartridge, a body, a first connection means and a second connection means. The first connection means and the second connection means are configured to mechanically cooperate to form a releasable connection. The releasable connection is suitable for releasably securing the cartridge to the body. The releasable connection prevents accidental relative movement between the cartridge and the body during assembly of the device. The first connection means and the second connection means are irreversably non-releasably secured to each other.
