摘要: A shaped interior stiffener is molded into a polymeric material pad, forming a cushioning pad that can be affixed to a stabilizer leg foot on mobile equipment such as a crane or excavator. A variety of foot pads is contemplated, each specifically designed to fit without alteration to a variety of different manufacturer's equipment through use of bolts protruding from one surface of the foot pad. The interior stiffener is shaped in such a manner that it conforms to the bolt pattern of a particular equipment model, having socket-like receivers for the heads of the protruding bolts, efficiently distributes stress throughout the structure to minimize stress failures, and provides a plurality of ribs, webs and openings to allow maximum durability and adhesion between the stiffener and the polymeric foot pad material which encapsulates the stiffener.

摘要: Disclosed are aqueous conditioning shampoo compositions which comprise an anionic detersive surfactant component; from about 0.025% to about 5% by weight of an water soluble or dispersible, cationic, non crosslinked, deposition or conditioning polymer; the conditioning shampoo may additionally comprise dispersed, liquid, droplets of a water insoluble, hair conditioning agent having a volume average particle diameter of from about 5 microns to about 125 microns. A homopolymer has a cationic charge density from about from about 2 meq/gm to about 4 meq/gm or a cationic charge density of from about 5 meq/gm to about 10 meq/gm; or an average molecular weight of at least 500,000. A copolymer is formed from one or more cationic monomer units and one or more nonionic monomer units or monomer units bearing a negative charge wherein the subsequent charge of the copolymer is positive. The cationic polymer, in combination with anionic detersive surfactant component and other essential components, provides improved deposition of the conditioning agent on hair or skin, even when the dispersed conditioning agent particles have a volume average particle size of up to about 125 microns. The composition may be applied to skin or hair, and provides improved conditioning performance even without the use of the dispersed hair conditioning agent particles.

摘要: A closed automatic system for removing (for facilitating the removal) and safely storing potentially contaminated medical (or other) needles in which the operator only uses one hand to operate the system. The system has a counter which counts the number of actuations of the needle sensor. When a predetermined limit is reached the device signals the operator that the safe is nearly full. A further fixed number of needles can then be removed, when that limit is reached, a fuse on the safe is blown causing the system to be inoperative until a new box is installed. Removal of the box also causes the fuse to be blown and the circuit is disabled until a new box is inserted. The safe storage box contains a tab which when fixed in the locked position can not be opened except upon the application of substantial force with a tool. The system uses a Motorola 705 EPROM or similar microcontroller. (Motorola product literature is incorporated by reference herein.)

摘要: A closed automatic system for removing (for facilitating the removal) and safely storing potentially contaminated medical (or other) needles in which the operator only uses one hand to operate the system. The user simply inserts a syringe with needle attached in the opening provided in the top of the device and resists the rotation of the needle hub after the hub is engaged by the motor driven cams. Sensors detect the presence of the needle and cause the motor to start driving a chuck mechanism (through a shaft to which gears are attached) which engages the needle and rotates it a predetermined, but changeable, number of times sufficient to disengage the needle from the syringe. The operator then removes the syringe and the needle drops or has dropped into the safe.
