Abstract:
The disclosure is related to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The disclosure is related to a precoding/beamforming using a massive antenna. A method for operating a base station in a wireless communication system includes transmitting vertical reference signals and horizontal reference signals that are generated based on an interference relation between terminals, receiving long-term channel information determined by using the vertical reference signals and the horizontal reference signals, transmitting group-specific reference signals beamformed by a first beamformer generated based on the long-term channel information, receiving short-term channel information determined by using the group-specific reference signals, and transmitting a data signal beamformed by a second beamformer generated based on the short-term channel information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting data by a base station in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation, comprising the steps of: confirming whether a condition for data transmission distribution is satisfied; if the condition is satisfied, determining respective radio link control (RLC) data to be allocated to the base station and another base station, and sequence numbers for the RLC data; and transmitting the RLC data allocated to the other base station and the sequence numbers. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiment above and other embodiments are possible.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting data in a mobile communication system and, more particularly, to a method and apparatus for transmitting data by a base station in an unlicensed frequency. To achieve the above described problem, a method for transmitting data by a base station in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: transmitting a first signal for determining whether a data transmission is possible in an unlicensed frequency band; transmitting a second signal for reserving a data transmission in the unlicensed frequency band when the data transmission in the unlicensed frequency band is possible; and transmitting first data to a terminal through the unlicensed frequency band after transmitting the second signal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a base station determines whether other communication devices do not use the unlicensed frequency band, and transmits a channel reservation signal having a period shorter than a resource allocation period during a predetermined period of time, thereby pursuing coexistence with other communication devices and improving the performance of a communication system at the same time.
Abstract:
A method of supporting fast sub-cell switching by a sub-cell included in a macro coverage in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving multiple pieces of feedback information on multiple sub-cells from a User Equipment (UE), extracting channel quality indicators from the multiple pieces of received feedback information, respectively, comparing values of the extracted channel quality indicators, and determining, based on a result of the comparison of the values of the extracted channel quality indicators, whether to perform fast sub-cell switching of the UE.
