Abstract: A plasticizing device includes: a drive motor; a rotating unit driven to rotate about a rotation axis by the drive motor and having an end surface perpendicular to the rotation axis and a lateral surface intersecting with the end surface; a barrel having a bottom surface facing the end surface of the rotating unit, and a heater; a case accommodating the rotating unit; and a material supply unit accommodating the material. At least one of the barrel and the case has a sidewall surface facing the lateral surface of the rotating unit and standing up along an outer circumference of the bottom surface of the barrel. At the bottom surface of the barrel, a communication hole through which the molten material flows out and a spiral groove part coupled to the communication hole are formed. The lateral surface of the rotating unit and the sidewall surface together define a supply space where the material is supplied from the material supply unit to the groove part.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid storing body that makes it possible to prevent a liquid containing a sedimentous component whose concentration is higher than a proper range from being supplied to a liquid jetting apparatus. An ink pack 1 is provided with a flexible ink storage bag 2 capable of storing pigment ink containing a sedimentous component, an ink supply part 3 provided at an upper portion of the ink storage bag 2, and a flow path member 4 that connects the interior of the ink storage bag 2 and the ink supply part 3. The flow path member 4 is provided with a vertical tube part 41 extending downward from the ink supply part 3, a lateral tube part 42 extending horizontally from the lower end of the vertical tube part 41, and a vertical tube part 43 extending upward from the end of the lateral tube part 42.

Abstract: A liquid ejecting head includes a first member including a communication flow path communicating with a pressure chamber, and a second member joined to the first member and including a nozzle communicating with the communication flow path. The communication flow path includes a first flow path section adjacent to the pressure chamber, a second flow path section adjacent to the nozzle and wider than the first flow path section, and an intermediate flow path section including a sloped surface formed between the first flow path section and the second flow path section. An equation “H−Wtan(π/4−θ/2)≧0” is satisfied in which H represents a length of the second flow path section, W represents a maximum width of the second flow path, and θ represents an angle between an imaginary plane parallel to the bottom face of the communication flow path and the sloped surface.
