    Abstract: A liquid discharge head includes a first component having a bonding face having a recess and a second component bonded to the bonding face of the first component. The recess includes a first recess to which an adhesive is applied and a second recess extending in an extending direction to connect the first recess and an outer peripheral end of the first component. The first recess includes an inner side face that is an interior of the first component. The second recess includes a first wall face and a second wall face opposed to the first wall face. The first wall face and the second wall face define side walls of the second recess in a width direction orthogonal to the extending direction of the second recess. The extending direction is inclined with respect to a perpendicular line perpendicular to the inner side face of the first recess.

    Abstract: A liquid discharging head includes a nozzle configured to discharge liquid, a pressure chamber communicated with the nozzle, and an individual channel communicated with the pressure chamber through a narrow part. The liquid discharging head also includes a common channel communicated with the individual channel, an energy generation element configured to generate energy, and a diaphragm configured to convey the energy to the pressure chamber. A metal oxide film is formed at inner walls of the nozzle, the pressure chamber, the narrow part, the diaphragm, and the individual channel, and a hydroxyl group has come out from the metal oxide film.

    Abstract: A head includes: a head unit; and a wiring film configured to be connected to the head unit. The wiring film includes: a flexible substrate; a first IC provided on the flexible substrate; a second IC provided on the flexible substrate; a first wire provided on the flexible substrate to connect the first IC and a first contact portion of the head unit; a second wire provided on the flexible substrate to connect the second IC and a second contact portion of the head unit; and a third wire provided on the flexible substrate. The first IC has a long side extended in a predetermined direction and connected to the first wire, the second IC has a long side extended in the predetermined direction and connected to the second wire, and the first IC and the second IC are aligned along the predetermined direction to be apart from each other.

    Abstract: An inkjet print head for generating a droplet of ink includes an ink supply substrate having an ink supply channel; a droplet forming unit arranged on the ink supply substrate; and a manifold chamber formed over an ink inlet surface of the droplet forming unit. The manifold chamber has a first wall formed by the ink inlet surface, a second closed wall formed opposite to the first wall and a side wall extending between the first wall and the second wall and surrounding the manifold chamber. The manifold chamber extends in a manifold plane. A manifold supply channel is arranged in the manifold plane and surrounds the manifold chamber. The ink supply channel is in fluid communication with the manifold supply channel. A number of manifold feed openings in the side wall provide for a fluid connection between the manifold supply channel and the manifold chamber.
