Abstract: In a configuration in which an ink accommodating portion is provided on the outside of an apparatus main body, both improvement of maintenance and suppressing of performance deterioration of the apparatus are achieved.A recording apparatus includes a recording head that is capable of discharging liquid onto a medium, a controller that controls the recording head, a housing that covers a structure including the recording head and the controller, a case that stores a liquid accommodating member accommodating the liquid and an electronic component holding information of the liquid accommodating member, and is attached to the outside of the housing, a tube that guides the liquid from the liquid accommodating member to the inside of the housing, and an electric wiring that electrically connects the controller and the electronic component, in which the electric wiring includes a connection portion which connects cables, a cable on the controller side which constitutes a wiring of the controller side with respect to the connection portion, and a cable on the electronic component side which constitutes a wiring of the electronic component side with respect to the connection portion, and at least one of the cable on the controller side and the cable on the electronic component side is able to be connected to and disconnected from the connection portion.

Abstract: A recording apparatus includes a housing; a recording head that is provided inside the housing and records an image on paper by ejecting ink on the paper; a case that is attached to the housing in such a manner that the case can be separated from a side wall of the housing; and a first supply tube that supplies ink in a liquid container body contained in the case to the recording head. A through hole is provided in the side wall of the housing so as to allow the first supply tube to pass therethrough, and a through hole is provided in the case so as to allow the first supply tube to pass therethrough. The through hole in the case expands to be larger than the through hole in the side wall.

Abstract: When a cover is assembled to a case, an access opening of the case is opened by an opening operation of the cover. A part which is close to a first end of a link is connected to the cover. A part which is close to a second end of the link is connected to a connecting portion of a decorative sheet. A second fastening portion of the decorative sheet is fastened with respect to a first fastening portion of the case (side wall forming member) by a fastening member which is inserted into the case from the access opening. At this time, even when an opening operation of the cover is restricted by the link and the access opening becomes narrower, it is possible to easily perform the fastening operation. For this reason, it is easy to perform an assembling operation of the cover with respect to the case.
