Abstract: Disclosed are a display panel and an electronic device. The display panel includes sub-pixels arranged in an array, wherein each pixel row of the sub-pixels comprises 3n sub-pixels, with every six adjacent sub-pixels of the pixel row forming a pixel group, n≥2, and the six adjacent sub-pixels of the pixel group are arranged in sequential order in a first direction parallel to the row direction. The display panel further includes a controller, where in a first display mode the controller controls each of the sub-pixels to be charged to emit light; and in a second display mode the controller controls at most two sub-pixels of each of the pixel groups in at least one of the pixel rows to not emit light, and controls at most two sub-pixels of the pixel group which have same order in two adjacent frames of pictures to not emit light.

Abstract: A pixel circuit and driving method thereof, and a display device are provided. The pixel circuit comprises a light-emitting element, a first, second, third, and fourth transistors, and a capacitor element. The first transistor is configured to time-sharingly receive a data voltage and a power supply voltage under control of a first voltage signal. The second transistor is configured to detect and compensate a threshold voltage deviation of the first transistor under control of a first scanning signal. The third transistor is configured to provide a driving current generated by the first transistor to the light-emitting element under control of a light-emitting signal. The fourth transistor is configured to transmit a reset signal to an anode of the light-emitting element under control of a second scanning signal. The capacitor element is configured to store the data voltage transmitted to the first transistor. The light-emitting element is configured to emit light.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a plurality of pixel circuits, and each of the pixel circuit includes an initialization component, a data writing component, a light emitting control component, a voltage storage component, a driving transistor, a first voltage maintenance component, a switching control component, an external compensation component and a light-emitting diode. The driving transistor is a dual-gate transistor, and a second gate of the dual-gate transistor is electrically connected to the external compensation component through the switching control component. The external compensation component is under the control of the switching control component to firstly collect the voltage at a third node and then provide a compensation voltage to a second node to adjust the threshold voltage of the dual-gate transistor so that the threshold voltage of the dual-gate transistor is more approximate to a standard threshold voltage.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses a display panel, a display device, and a method for driving a pixel circuit, and the pixel circuit includes a data writing module, a light-emission control module, a driver control module, a threshold compensation module, an anode resetting module, a node initialization module, and an organic light-emitting diode. The threshold compensation module can compensate for drifting of threshold voltage of the driver transistor so that the pixel circuit can emit light and display while operating current of the driver transistor to drive the light-emitting element to emit light is only dependent upon a signal on the data line and voltage at a reference signal end, but independent of the threshold voltage and a first power source voltage end to thereby avoid the threshold voltage and an IR drop from affecting the current flowing through the organic light-emitting diode.
