    Abstract: The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that are designed to enable easy generation of a path for successively displaying characteristic images. The information processing device includes a setting unit that sets a path for connecting characteristic portions in at least one image by referring to metadata including at least information about feature points detected from the image. The setting unit sets the path by determining a regression curve, using the feature points. In a case where the feature points include a feature point at a distance equal to or longer than a predetermined threshold value from the regression curve, the setting unit redetermines the regression curve after removing a feature point detected from an image including a feature point having a low score among the feature points. The present technology can be applied to information processing devices that process still images and moving images.

    Abstract: A data processing unit of an information processing apparatus 50 calculates the position and the attitude in a three-dimensional space of a calibration board 60 in a captured image of a prescribed imaging device among imaging devices 20-1 to 20-7, and calculates the position and the attitude of the calibration board 60 in a captured image acquired by another imaging device different from the prescribed imaging device on the basis of the calculated position and attitude in the three-dimensional space. The data processing unit presents the imaging situation of a moving calibration board for each imaging device by means of display units of the information processing apparatus 50 and the imaging devices 20-1 to 20-7. By performing imaging using the imaging situation, a situation where the movement and the change in the inclination of the calibration board 60 are small and it is necessity to re-image the calibration board 60 can be prevented, and high-accuracy calibration processing can be performed with good efficiency.
