Abstract: A display device includes: a plurality of scan lines; and a plurality of sub-pixels, each of the sub-pixels comprising a driving transistor, a plurality of transistors connected to the plurality of scan lines, and a light-emitting element electrically connected to the driving transistor. Each of the sub-pixels comprises an active layer comprising a channel region, a first electrode, and a second electrode of each of the plurality of transistors. A first scan line among the plurality of scan lines comprises a first extension extended in a first direction and a first protrusion extended in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The active layer overlaps with the first protrusion in a plan view.

Abstract: A pixel includes first through fourth transistors and storage capacitor. The first transistor controls an amount of current flowing from a first driving power source to a second driving power source, via an organic light-emitting diode, based on a voltage of a first node. The second transistor is coupled between a first electrode of the first transistor and the first node, and is turned on when a scan signal is supplied to a scan line. The third transistor is coupled between a second electrode of the first transistor and a reference power source, and is turned on when the scan signal is supplied. The fourth transistor is coupled between an anode electrode of the organic light-emitting diode and a data line, and is turned on when the scan signal is supplied. The storage capacitor is coupled between the first node and the anode electrode of the organic light-emitting diode.

In a first frame period, the second scan start line is to be suppled with a second scan start signal having a turn-on level, after a first period elapses after a first scan start signal having a turn-on level is supplied to the first scan start line. In a second frame period, a difference between a time at which the first scan start signal having the turn-on level is supplied and a time at which the second scan start signal having the turn-on level is supplied corresponds to a second period. The second period is shorter than the first period.
