A method and a mobile device to display a specific image at the highest layer of a screen are provided. The mobile device displays moving images at a first region of a screen and, if an event to perform a function in a second region of the screen is received, determines a second region for displaying a specific image associated with the event. The mobile device determines whether the second region is overlapped with the first region. If the second region is overlapped with the first region, the mobile device determines a third region not overlapped with the second region. Thereafter, the mobile device displays the specific image at the second region and displays the moving images at the third region.

An apparatus and method for measuring a temperature in an electronic device. An amount of light of an optical signal reflected off of an object is measured, and a size of a temperature measurement expectation area on the object based is determined based on the measured amount of light. A temperature measurement guide message is output based on a result of comparing the determined size and a reference area.

Various examples of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for transmitting an image while performing a voice call between electronic devices. According to the various examples of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a camera; a display; a communication unit configured so as to establish wireless communication with another electronic device by using at least one protocol; and a processor functionally connected to the camera, the display, and the communication unit, wherein the processor can be configured to: perform a voice call with another electronic device on the basis of a first network; detect a user input for performing a video call with the another electronic device while performing the voice call with the other electronic device; connect the video call on the basis of a second network and display a user interface related to the video call on the display, according to the user input; and display, through the user interface, the image acquired from the camera and transmit the image to be displayed through the second network to the other electronic device. An electronic device and method for selecting an area of a content using pressure-sensitive touch technology. An embodiment for selecting an area of content using the pressure-sensitive technology includes displaying a content on a display, sensing user input on a region of the content being displayed, and measuring a level of pressure applied by the user input on the region. Then, in response to the measured level of pressure being a first value, selecting a first range of the content. However, in response to the measured level of pressure being a second value, selecting a second range of the content. Finally, displaying an indication to the selected first range or second range on the display. Selection of the first or second range may be on a basis of an attribute or property of an object in the region, and the selected range may be designated as a geofence area.
